Jackie Cooper b. September 15, 1922 d. May 3, 2011. RIP little champ.

Jackie had been the drummer in Claude Thornhill's Navy band during World War II; not many people knew he had that kind of talent. He just passed away at the age of 88 (his lawyer/agent claimed he died of old age- "He just wore out").

This from an October 13, 1953 edition of "THE BUICK- BERLE SHOW" (during which Milton narrates a la Jack Webb on "DRAGNET"). "Dagmar" [Virginia Ruth Egnor] tried to succeed as a star in her own right after she left Jerry Lester's "BROADWAY OPEN HOUSE" in 1951, but never quite achieved that success, eventually fading away from "the business" by the early '60s. She died in October 2001 at age 79.

Dagmar had cheesecake appeal in the early days of television. I'd heard that she once appeared in a daring cleavage and had what we now call a "wardrobe malfunction." If that was ever saved, I'd love to see it.
