@scarvesonguitars: Yea, John & Paul were actually back on speaking terms by '73 or '74--Paul even jammed with John (which is available on a bootleg recording) when John was out in LA recording at the Record Plant. They werre sitting in John's NY condo one night in '76 watching SNL the night Loren Michales offered the Beatles "$3,000" to reunite. They thought about going down to Rockerfeller Center to do a walk on during the show but they were both too tired to bother.

i just have to say this....just as the bible has the 4 main apostles and saints, mathew, mark , luke, and john, i can't help but say that john, paul , george and ringo, are the equivalent in the religion of rock !!!

I'm glad that they finally got past their squabbles, became comfortable in their own skins, and proud and nostalgic about their great legacy. It warms the cockles of an old fan's heart to see the surviving members together again, laughing together, and reveling in the glory of their shared story.
