I think this is a really nice reminder, certainly at this time in history many people seem to confirm/affirm their existence through perpetual experience of sadness and misery - I have been one of them myself for a long, long time..

Everybody deserves to be happy, let your inner light shine and may your laughter be free and contagious! :)

I watched this when I was a kid. Now that I see it as an adult, it's a bit scary. They force the "sad" culture to assimilate against their will.

@Nickelplate1 It is a bit black and white, but I think the point they're trying to make (by means of metaphor) is that the sad people need help in experiencing joy, whether they like it or not. It's like killing them with kindness. I've seen people in real life who are very unhappy, but refuse help, like in this.
