So what do you think would happen in this case?
I would have had to try helping the older couple, even if i had to go in that shit. Noway I could just watch them drift away. Hope they turned out okay.

地震の規模はスマトラ沖のほうが大きかったらしい。日本は地形のせいで津波が巨大化したのかなぁ。

@A0104A スマトラ沖のほうがエネルギーは二倍程度なんですよ。 スマトラ島西海岸はリアス式で局地的に高くなる場所は少ないんですよ。 因みに過去最大の1960年チリ地震M9.5は東日本大震災の6倍程度の規模です。

日本の方が、海溝がらみのせいか、流速が速かった。飲まれたらもう死んでいただろう…スマトラの場合は緩やかな流れで助かった人も多いのでは無いか。日本の場合、１Fにいて助かった人はいないと思う。
