  • the deer might have an infection for some reason... could you tell me how far were you from the deer?

  • what was used to take this?

  • thermal view, automatic infra-red locking system. now you only need plasma caster.

  • try to realize that you are killing animals for fun

  • these thermal cam's are so fucking expensive

  • I was expecting 3 dots aim and laser blast :D Predator

  • Hey send me your email and i give you invite for lockerz invite!

    thanks!

  • wow, that's a textbook example of one of the many great uses for flir (animal injury).

  • Intervention 50 cal with thermal scope :) *too much call of duty for me * lol

  • I doubt that it was hit by a car due to the fact it is walking at all. Its slight limp in gait and the inflammation could indicate some infection in one of the toes from a sore or other injury. Maybe something due to a city environment like stepping on a nail or something sharp.

  • reindeer are better. i saw some while is was visiting the laplands in northern finland. no they didnt fly :P

  • Predator vison

  • stupid ass does lol

  • Wish I had that tracking on a weapon! Counted 43 times I would have taken a shot!

  • chopzilla, I wish to see the fireball destroying YOU instead..

  • Lame, i was hoping to see a gigantic fire ball destroy this deer. gotta love shameless violence against defenseless animals

  • Glad to hear the deer's condition has improved. This is going to be one of the main uses for my infrared camera once I receive it (probably will be a Electrophysics HOTSHOT HD-S w/640x480 optics).

I'll eventually post some of animals (deer, coyotes, elk, hopefully bobcats and mountain lions) of the wildlife here in New Mexico.

  • What kind of camera is this?

  • This video was taken with a FLIR E65 thermal imager with the zoom option, high temp option, latest motherboard upgrade and 17mm lens. The video was recorded by porting the video output of the thermal imager into a Samsung SC-X300L Sports Camcorder.

  • how does a deer injure itself? i always thought animals are very unlikely to twist/dislocate their legs because of their innate skill...

  • Because this is a city dwelling deer it is a good bet that it was hit by a vehicle. We have a substantial deer population in and around the city and one or two get hit almost every day. Unfortunately the culture here dictates that having forward awareness when in control of a couple of tons of death and destruction is far less important than say, daydreaming.
