This is precisely why you do business with a store that knows what they are doing and has expert staff. Stay away from the stores for kids and work with the stores that are about musicians if you catch that drift. Hope you do

You are lucky if your Wavedrum sounds like this right out of the box. & heaven forbid you are unfortunate enough to have to call KORG technical support or try to leave a message & get a supervisor to call you back. I had to read the manual and then go in and tweak everything on both the rim & the head as well as the sensor height adjustment. I own over 20 KORG products (love them) but the support is totally worthless--the worst in the Industry. Kawai is the absolute best just for comparison.
