That's the thing - these amp modelling thingies are only ever good if you have a PERFECT technique. It's really difficult to make them sound as good as the real thing.

@odinnshred It's not a matter of technique, it's a matter of mixing skills, it's easy to make virtual amps sound good if you know how to process it right. In most cases this can be done in the plugin itself, in this case Guitar rig 5.

Great sound! Do you have any tips on a preamp or something to plugin between the guitar and the computer, and will it have any effects on the sound at all? I'm thinking about getting a Line6 UX1, I don't know if you have any experience with it, but I've heard good stuff about it. The sound I'm getting right now when I plug the guitar straight in to the soundcard is just.. horrid!

you definetly need studio monitors for guitar rig before i use to hook it up to my amp and it sucked, studio monitors are essential

hi, i just wanna ask if i can just plug my guitar directly on my computer to play via guitar rig? coz i've heard that you need a specific sound card in order for your guitar to work like this one... :/

@xeroblade012 You need to buy a converter that has a 6.3mm input for your guitar and outputs via USB.

Another way to do that is to get a male-male 3.5mm cable and plug one end into the headphone out on your amp and the other into the microphone in on your computer. The sound won't be totally clean before it enters Guitar Rig, though.

Nothin' against you i fucking love this, but i think just playing without the pinky is a little weak. Because to make the pinky as strong as the other fingers is one of the biggest challanges and yeah just playing without is the simple way..
