yes he was not as old as people made him out to be and he didnt die water sking, it was said it was a heart attack. too bad, he had great things to say, great books, that shouldnt be disregarded. but those 2 biggie lies really hurt his image
His stuff works....be your own laboratory for yourself. Anyone who follows only one lifestyle all their life has missed the opportunity to really know their self deeper!
Unfortunately, it seems that all Bragg books based on lies: from his age till his death. I'm totally shoked. I considered him my health teacher. And no reaction from Patricia.
@vsaua Trust your own experience by living as Paul Bragg suggest. You won´t be shocked, if you believe his teachings. Why is it important if their are lies of his age or reasons of death? It isn´t that important, to break with Bragg! :-)
@thore0007 In trust we trust:) You know, I don't respect anything that base on lie - it's not the right way to improve better. Bragg speak about positive thinking - it's absurd to tell about it and know that you are lie about your age, lie about Patricia (seems she is not his daughter). Other facts from his books. Fortunately, Bragg didn't invented fasting by himself, but just used it for his egoistic business aim. People have to know the truth. Just think if Bragg is the worth man to respect.
I believe that whether or not he lied, He lived a very healthy lifestyle and his books/foods are beneficial to your health. However, was that thing he said about the chicken heart staying alive true?
I agree. If indeed Bragg did lie, it's an indicator he was a flawed human - but who isn't? He was part showman, in addition to being a health educator. Still, he had a positive impact; Jack Lalanne has mentioned Bragg as a primary source of inspiration in his own quest for health. (I notice that Jack even seemed to adopt Paul's exercise outfit!) I'm not familiar with a story about a chicken heart - couldn't find any reference to that in this video.
It was in another Bragg video. A scientist kept a chicken heart alive for 34 years by feeding it " Live foods". He mentions it in a vid called :"Paul C. Bragg, Father of the Natural Health Movement Part 1". It's posted by this guy ( The long one not the short one"
just read Alexis Carrel's masterpiece "Man this unknown"
the chicken's embryo heart's tissues died because of a certain lab worker who forgot to clean the tissue and change the liquid and therefore death was caused by self-intoxification
if you want to know more about longevity read my former teacher's book "world keys for health & long life" by Bernard Jensen
hey people dont argue...i tried and continue trying living the way he did,i read his books and some of the ideas if not all of them are really good advices, really interesting and useful stuff.
i thing its worth to try to change smth in our bodies and the way he encourages,in my opinion,is the best way we can live a better life.
Well the U.S. Library of Congress, the largest & one of the most prestigious libraries in the world, has Paul Bragg's birth year & death year as 1895 & 1976, respectively. I'm sure "academic institutions" and "public schools" would consider that an "acceptable resource". He lied.
I had a Paul Bragg book before and followed his advice on fasting... My grandma thought I was nuts, because Paul's approach was kinda extreme for her.
Dear "Internet Knower". There are books out there in the world, which you may can read. It is good to know, that the "wisdow" of the internet not reflects always the truth, you know? Please inform yourself deeper, before you make any comment on a subject you don´t investigate further. By looking up for a second Google or Wikipedia, you are going to make you totally stupid! Be careful and read books of Paul Bragg and live his livestyle for 30 days minimum, so you know it better!

Paul Bragg was born in 1895, not 1881. Read wikipedia. He added himself 14 years for solidity.

That's retarded, reading his books won't prove he didn't lie about his age.
