Hi Brian, I watched your video in class and it was awesome. Your adaptions are really inspiring to others and you challenge the common stereotypes associated with disabilities.
Hi Brian! Thank You so much for making your videos. I'm currently finishing my degree in Interior Design here in Ontario, Canada. One of our final projects is to design a home for a Paraplegic Woman. Your videos have helped me to understand life in a wheelchair so much better than any textbook could! You are inspiring, encouraging, and the information you've shared has helped me to design on a deeper level. Keep doing what your doing! My deepest thanks for sharing part of your life with us.
This is awesome house design. I go to tech school and we build houses every 3 years and this really nice. I mean, it something like we do, just a little less wheelchair accessible.
Brian, You did a great video. It is so informative. I love the little extras you did like the extra grab knob on the garage door and the extra long-deep shelves in the pantry. The turn off on the hand held in the shower is great too.
I wish you were in NC! As a Realtor I specialize in UD and accessible homes. My mission is to serve the WHOLE disability community.
Thank you for posting all your videos. Your truly are an inspiration! I'm getting my degree in occupational therapy right now and only after seeing your videos, do I fully understand the importance of a person's performance skills, the impact of their environment...It's truly amazing all the modifications you've done to your house and to the bike! I'm so glad to see you riding again (even though it's scary to watch you make all those crazy turns! :)
I'm from NY, but will be in your area in a few weeks and I was wondering if there was any way to get in touch with you (via email) as I had some questions to ask.
@pedralis I think its a frigidaire front loader. The key is getting the pedistal drawers on the bottom...this makes it much easier to load and unload because you don't have to bend down.
Thank you for creating this video! It's so helpful to see how other people get around with a wheelchair in their home! It's especially helpful to see how you've adapted your bathroom. We really need to do more to ours for our son. Thanks again!
Thank you so much. I'm learning as I go & we are looking for a single story house that I can move around in & in hopes to be able to get outside more then I can here.
Great ideas bro, Id offer to fill one of your bedrooms, however even though I just got evicted, if I leave everyone I know I kinda want to move south or someplace warm, basically without winter. Its gotta be nice to have a place you kind designed yourself too!
Very interesting, thanks for the video. I can't imagine what the difference it would make if my place was accessible. You came up with some great ideas. Really enjoyed watching.

It is a nice home you got there,I liked a lot ( But still the doors could be wider)
I also just to brush my teeth with a little bucket ( that sucks,ha ha ha !).
An yes, rugs are useless for us,I live in a rented house and my rug looks like a wild herd of Horses just passed running trough it, ha ha ha.
Very well though about the handles on the laundry room,I would do it to every room in the house .
Like the wide corridor.
Wheel chair also cool ( could you write the brand and model please ? )
