  • that girl on the line sounds cute as hell.

  • He has a point

  • I'm pretty good at owning, not always incredible/amazing, but I am. I'm not sure I'd have pulled this one off, though. Lol. Bring more of those.

  • Its not the sausage company fault. Its the bread company. They make sure to sell less buns than sausages so that you have to buy another pack of buns.

  • @dada236

Well in the same token you could say that hotdog companies are trying to sell two more hotdogs than there are buns available. I don't buy the extra pack, I doubt most do. So it's the hotdog companies making out. You can always cut that shit up into Mac&Cheese though.

  • nathans hot dogs come 8 to a pack

  • Your supposed to use the extra two hot dogs with a can of Pork and Beans to make Beenie Weenies.

  • 8 months since i last watched this wow lolz came back just to hear it again cause it was kinda funny in the end =P Woot sir =P

  • Dont worry little wiener.

you wont be lonely for long

  • ROFL

  • I think this is a "problem" created by corporate collusion years ago.

Consumers see through it now, other amounts are currently sold.

  • W00T!

  • ROFL ROFL!!

  • bravo my good man bravo... just one problem... they also make 4, 6, 8, and even 16 packs of hot dogs and i have only seen 1 other 12 pack of buns.

  • 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO woot

  • woot sir.

  • Now thats a "FUN" prank call! I bet the employees actually enjoyed that call.

  • @grassburner i agree... there was some laughing in the break room that day for sure.

  • Well u have a pack with ten hotdogs and a pack with 8 buns because life doesn't always go according to plan................. u can always just have a hotdog

  • A most excellent quasi-prank.

  • really funny

  • i hardly ever respond to videos but i want to say that this is really funny stuff.

  • I buy the bun length hot dogs because they come 8 in a pack.

  • woot

  • Oscar Meyer will never change anything suggested to them. So now, we'll have 12 buns and 10 hot dogs! :)

  • i WANT OVER !!! 9000!!!!!

  • That was pretty awesome!

  • you are my hero.

  • W00t 5stars great prank lol

  • Comment removed

  • hahah thats great Woot I agree

  • W00t

  • Brilliant.

    Question though,

is it a natural ability to not laugh and ruin the pranks you have, or have you had to train yourself, or is there some kind of formal training you can do to not laugh at funny things?

  • aaahaha 5 stars to the man who finally solved our most hatred issue known to man

  • You can only eat 20 or so dogs in a day.?Not only are you a loser jackass for wasting these peoples time you're a weiner pussy.

Get a life and have a f**king hamburger.

  • W00t

  • W00t!

  • oh, my im so sorry to hear that lmfao

  • prank??? that guy looked pretty serious to me.

Maybe he just tells people it was a prank because he realized that he was a retard for thinking he got the two companies to agree by talking to two random people at a call center who have no authority, and whose job is to agree with the caller in everything.

  • The retard is the one who assumes this guy is serious. He's not.

  • Whoops I guess im a retard now

  • noreallytheyare ureallyareafuckwit frigin nub grow a vag

  • W000000t!

  • how was this shit a prank???!!oneone!!

  • you forgot eleven cmon man do it right!

  • ...These people get paid by the hour to sit by the phone and answer questions. If i am getting paid by the hour to take calls I woudln't mind chillin and talkin to a guy with a reasonable statement. They must have a life if they have a job right?

    HilarouS !!

  • Finally somebody said it!

  • one of the best videos ever to hit the interwebbery

  • Finally, a vid about sausage rolls

  • Funny!

  • Lowest Common Multiple, maybe?

    Otherwise, hilarious, nicely done.

  • yeah he meant multiplier :)

  • i love this

  • I totally felt good about this until the end.

  • So humiliating for the call center people. What a douche. Next time write a letter.

  • lol at 3:05

good work dude! You were very clear without going overboard

off site retreat is a good idea :)

  • dude seriously you should be awared the nobel peace prize for this.

  • I usually put my hot dogs on Italian rolls so that I can use the rollls for something else before they go stale.

  • based on that video i would guess HIS wiener is lonely

  • w00t!

  • Is this guy fucknig retarded? Its not that hard to buy another pack of bread lol. Just keep buying wieners and bread until you get the same number of each. Im sure a red blooded American such as the man in the OP can eat that much.

  • Which was his point - you need to buy 40 to match or waste some bread.

I can see the humor but I personally did not find it funny or worth watching. I imagine some people would find it amusing.

  • what a fucking douchebag that guy. Seek Help!

  • Yeah, what a douche.

  • chew. that went smoothly.

  • i work with the oscar meyer comp. & i do have word that beginning with feb. 2010, 8 will be the common amount per pack to coincide with buns, prices will go up a bit though..jk ;o)

  • w00t!!

  • This guy should be president

  • The word you were looking for was least common multiple.

  • "W00t sir, we agree" ROTFL!! Nicely done, like you, I think I could only pack on 30 hot dogs with buns tops per day tops, and that's without adding chili or anything else.

  • w00t! LOL

  • Give this guy his own show..........fantastic!

  • LOL

  • w00t!

    genius!

  • NOT!

The lowest common denominator of 8 and 10 is 2

  • your fucking stupid

  • Comment removed

  • dumbass its 40

  • Oooops,

Lowest common denominator is ONE (as is any positive whole number)

    Lowest common multiplier is 40

  • Actually since LCD refers to a fraction, it is 1. LCM is 40.

  • Why not just get them to sell hot dogs IN buns?

  • I only seem to find and buy 8 hot dog bun packs and 8 hot dog packs.. wtf is wrong with you?

  • I AGREE 12 weenies!!! AWESOME!

  • AWESOME!

  • Evelyn and Carlos:

    I love you both.

  • It would cost money to change the packaging. Thus, they will NEVER change the quantities. Also, I'm sure the hot dog companies are quite happy about having sold everyone in America 2 extra hot dogs EVERY time a package is sold.

  • OK, I eat ramen along with wiener. I buy a box of ramen, it have 30 ramen in a box. So, should I call wiener and ask them, can they make 30 hot dog to a pack for MY RAMEN?

Come on, boy, you know it.

Everyone have different kind of need.

They can't just make changes for all hot dog eaters and forget other people with different need, man.

  • Least common multiple?

  • If you are jewish, its much worse. Kosher hotdogs come in packs of seven.

  • Waste of time. Really think it is going to change? Makes no difference too what you post or say. Get over it and get off. Another wasted moment for my time, thanks dumbass.

  • this was made in satire

  • who gives a shit this guys hilarious lol...

  • Take a stick out of your ass tool

  • what a freakin GENIUS

  • Why would the hotdogs change in package size when to go from 6 to 12, you only need to buy 2 packets?

  • this was great!!! hahahahaha

  • my hypothesis on why the packaging is like that is because back in the old days, an average person would eat 2 hot dogs plain while waiting for the rest to cook. After the dogs are cooked, the cook would have 8 dogs left either for himself or for others.

  • I dont eat hot dogs but this is funny somehow

  • this isn't really a problem but its a good video

  • lets push for this

  • keep it 10.

1lb packs make sense. 10 Buns would work well.

  • W00t!!!!!

  • w00t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lowest common denominator is 2. Lowest common multiple is 40...

  • I just kicked you in the balls in my head.

  • they dont sell em in 2's

  • I was thinking about this not too long ago, thanks for getting them to fix it.

  • wOOOOOOt!

  • woot

  • W00t!

  • This reminds me of something Larry David would complain about on Curb.

"I'm sittin' here and I've got two hot dogs and I've got no buns to put them in. Who eats a hot dog plain anyway. I don't want to meet that kind of person. Do you guys not see a problem with this? The hot dog/bun ratio is askew."

  • wow, beautiful!

  • The premise might have been "recycled", but getting both companies on the phone, and then his straight face.. I'm glad I didn't bail out early. It was very funny.

  • Not to derail the effort, but Ball Park sells 16-packs, which fits nicely with the 8-pack buns. Something to consider.

  • I know it wasn't to be taken seriously, it's just I've heard this so many times from 100000000 different people thinking they are being funny. If google this topic you will get tons of videos of people doing the same thing. He's obviously a rather funny guy, just wasting his time doing something that is not funny.

  • we keep fighting over wars and banks and health care, while the wiener-bun issue has been raging for DECADES!

WAKE UP AND SMELL THE BBQ PEOPLE!!!

  • Call 1-800-222-2323 and ask for 12 hot dogs in a pack! Call 1-800-483-7253 and ask for 12 buns in a pack! Let's fix this, America!

  • First of all it's not a classic argument because anyone with a brain knows why it's done this way. I remember this joke from an anamaniacs episode way back when. Anyway I watched the video and it was decent, just the premise wasn't funny because it's so dated. Anyway like I said anyone with half a brain knows why it's like this. It's done this way on purpose, because the hot dog bun manufacturers will get twice the amount of sales for every one hot dog package sale. It's actually quite brilliant

  • BallPark sells 8 packs. Just avoid Oscar Meyer and you're fine.

  • Question is did they change their packaging/pricing etc or not?!

  • ahh yeah, stroke that wiener.

  • If you were a hotdog, would you eat yourself? I know I would!

  • Least Common Multiple, not Lowest Common Denominator.

  • Acutally i'm quite impressed with Oscar Mayer and Wonder bread customer support.

  • i feel kinda dirty after watching that

    w00t!

  • haha loved it

  • "Do you know what the lowest common denominator of 8 and ten is? It's 40," hahaha

  • I'm guessing he meant the least common multiple of 8 and 10, which is 40. Least common denominator is the least common multiple of the denominators. Just saying.

  • This video made me smile. Thanks.

  • Meh, I don't see the big deal about the hot dog bun / hot dog debate. Oscar Meyer hot dogs suck anyhow. Go with something like Ball Park, which come in packages of 8, as basebull already mentioned.

Just saying that hot dogs come 10 to a pack only means that you must refuse to believe of any other brands of hot dogs than Oscar Meyer.

  • Haha. you are over-analyzing just like everyone else. This is just a funny video making a funny point about a funny subject. This is not a place for heated debates involving the quality of different brands of hot dogs. Did you even watch more than the introduction of the video?

  • I would like 12 that is a nice number! lol

  • You sir are a Fucking genius!!!

  • this is the greatest video ever created

  • haha, team building or ropes course.

    HOW BOUT TWELVE! lol

  • weiner lol

  • I appreciate this video on unreachable levels. :)

  • Ball Park franks come in packs of 8 already. Oscar Meyer FTL.

  • w00t sir...LOLOL

  • has no one ever hear of Oscar Meyer bun length hot dogs that come in packs of 8?

  • Yes! I actually bought some because they had 8 and the buns come in 8!

  • Epic diplomatic skills, you should fix the middle east conflict! hahahaha

  • and he was doing so good too until he said the lowest common denominator of 8 & 10 is 40. Now we'll never see it happen :(

  • Dude!!! That was awesome!!!

It is really retarded that numbers doesn't match.

I hope they both do packages of 12, I highly doubt it, but it would be nice!

  • lmao w00t

  • hahahahahaha!

    w00t indeed.

  • Lowest common denominator is 2.

  • uhhhhhh

  • It's lowest common multiple. Not least common denominator.

  • only problem is that 12 hotdog buns don't fit well in a bag =(

  • neither do 40, lol

I want an equal amount of hotdogs and hotdog buns, even though I don't buy from Oscar Meyer and Wonder Bread, if they both switch though, I'll start getting them, xD

  • WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!

  • Hahahah that was awesome!, woot

  • Hot dogs are garbage. I'll skip it and eat some quality meat.

  • mah dick?!

  • w00t!

  • lol, 12 would be so much better

  • w00t

  • oh, (and) mustard and onions are all that belong on a hotdog.

  • The two companies *do* work together. It's completely a marketing strategy because they know you can't (prefer not to) have one without the other. Their goal is to get you in the cycle of having to buy 40 (lcm) of each.

The reps handled this guy exactly as they're taught- deny and appease.

Ya, I'll let *marketing* know that they're doing a great job (queue sinister laugh)

I mean, props if you're really that naive to think you were telling those reps something they never thought of... but..

  • lmao!

    Fantastic!

  • W00t!!!
