What haaappens is stability is low ?

@No4al A graphics card is rated at certain speeds, by overclocking you are pushing it above its rated speeds therefore lowering the stability. Otherwise the manufacturer would release it with the higher clock speeds. This could lead to shorter life on the card(s) and errors/artifacts as well as more heat generation causing instability

I just ordered the Sapphire Vapor-X one.. It comes tomorrow and I am pumped because it is supposed to be a lot better than the other 5770s.. Cuz it auto-overclocks itself when gaming, and it underclocks itself say when you are on your desktop to conserve power and not heat up.. And it has vapor-x Cooling system.. I can't wait for it to arrive tomorrow! :D

@drey27 There is no definitative way to tell if it overclocks better as every GPU core is different, much like CPU's and all depends on many factors including software used to overclock and room temperature etc...

im not a noob i know when i have been sold faulty products ocuk had a batch of hd4850 of which i bought 2,from day1 both would crash to grey tiled screen when running heavy apps like crysis or furmark,i was using crossfire when i started having problems i tested each card on its own and same result,went back to the store and they checked both cards while i waited and offered to replace but i had lost faith in xfx so got a refund and bought powercolor pcs+ hd4890

i was told by ocuk techs after they tested that both cards would overheat and cause a system crash,this confirmed what i already knew.there are many horror stories on the net about xfx warranty just google it.. xfx quality control sux...i suggest buy a reputable brand like sapphire,asus,powercolor etc
