There are six guys in this Special Opps group. In the first game you play as the first 3 and in second you play as the other 3.... I have no idea why they would call in " Rainbow "

It's based on Tom Clancy's novels and I believe its some type of international squad... do you know if the guys are from different countries? cause on the book cover.. there's a ton of flags... hence the rainbow colors

AWD504 it is called Rainbow Six because there are 6 people in the group and each person is a different nationality. thats where the "rainbow" comes from
