I must be missing something. The logical fallacies in evidence here should arouse suspicions immediately. First off, they reveal their ulterior motives when they apply generalisations, like lefties; greens; or socialists etc, to people who claim that human activity is responsible for global warming. Next, some of these men are so extreme, they claim that the earth is actually cooling, all the while the polar ice cap melts. We have lost 15,000 km2 of ice in Antarctica in just 50 years.

Sceptics can't understand that improve our energy technology and efficiency, stop deforestation, transfer resources and technology to the poor will actually reduce poverty instead. and finally- nobody who knows anything about the environment knows that we will not be growing food to be fuel. it was an option the US likes because in Obama's home state of Illoinois you can grow alot of corn. there is some data that suggests that ethanol can release More C02 because of its refining processes. pretty much this video is a bunch of lobbyists who are extrapolating fear and questioning of things well beyond what they have been given reason to because of recent events. ridiculous

sorry but yes there is need. the market will not regulate CO2 so that having new technology will be cost effective unless the government implements programs so that it will not be cost effective to have dirty technologies. forcing technologies? isn't this what you are saying will voluntarily happen? somehow? although you don't really cover that point. companies don't have a mechanism for going more C02 efficient w/o government. free market capitalism doesn't really care about C02- its a fact.

There is NO need for government action on CO2.

There is technology that will cut 80% of the carbon fuel loads out of a typical person's life.

Ironically, putting a tax on carbon will lower the return on investment for this technology and thereby SLOW the implementation.

Market will regulation co2 because it will cost a lot less to have the NEW technology. Forcing technology that is 10 times more expensive is criminal at best and anybody who forces their technology should go to prison.
