@AvshalomTube are you a vegetarian? sacrificing animal for the sake of giving charity meal for the poor is not disguisting.. it's a tradition to share your wealth to the poor. You can do it with another ways nowadays but back in old time, this is the marking of a happy days, the essence is to share. Even atheist did not think it's as disguisting..
