Was in Estonia in 2007, tho' not for this event. Only just stumbled across this magical song. There's nowt better than singers in full-throated cry, giving some serious commitment to a song they believe in. If you're going to get a bunch of sclerotic old authoritarians off your back, then a Singing Revolution is a damn good way to do it. After all, as 60s cultural activists said (parsing Plato) , "When the mode of the music changes, the walls of the city shake". Estonia's experience proves it! R
