It may have been regarded as silly in 1993, but it rapidly became popular as toys and episodes flew past, already 13 seasons and 2 movies. Power Rangers is the greatest kids show of all time.

Why is it racist to say that a black man is black? Trini was not always crashing her zord either. Asian people are not yellow. Sometimes people look for racism, and you can usually find a way to discover what you're looking for. The power ranger team was an assimilation of different cultures. Stop focusing on race.

@Martialart07 for Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (what power rangers dervived from) they woudl have to sub it or Dub it like the Godzilla movies and leave it un editted and show late at night on Syfy or somthing. the original they would have to edit the crap out of it for it to be kid friendly i watched most of it. its pretty grim at times

@devildavin sigh...i love the power rangers. always will. i love sentai. They put alot of effort and creation in there work(pr has its shining moments), but PR made a HHUUUUUGE impact on tokusatsu in general......a not so good one. Even if sentai were brought over here, It would not have the success of PR. I mean pr was an international craze, even Japan has fans of the pr. I mean sentai could come here, but it sure as hell would not replace pr at all. that is why toei does not bring sentai IMO

@devildavin i love pr, always will. i love sentai for its acting and creative effort(pr has its moments sometime)but Sentai simply would not have the success pr had in America. PR was an international craze, even Japan has fans of it. Sentai could come here on DVD, but it would not have the impact pr had, and i believe thats why toei doesn't really wanna bring tokusatsu in general over here, because of pr impact on it....which is why so many sentai fans are honestly bitter towards pr

What I dont understand is why were you talking throughout most of the interview? I mean u took the mic away from him several times in mid sentence. But yes, in a sence, the show had to cater to all races and yes.... i often did wonder why the black ranger was the only one who can dance and had a weapon that turned into a gun. LOL

@Dohati75 No actually he was native american. Same with the white ranger actually. Tommy found out he was native american and became the red zeo ranger. Jason on the other hand has always been Native american (Can't really change that anyways lol) therefore he's the red ranger. I personally think Italian would mean becoming the green ranger as well :3
