I think that this is fantastic. Didn't know much about Carmilla. I just finished reading it online, and comparatively to your work, I'd say it's pretty accurate. Well done! I do pray that they make a more modernized adaptation of Carmilla. There's a beauty and grace about her that I think has been lost in the shadows of Dracula. Modern society, if they're anything like us, should feel priveleged to be exposed to to character that Bram Stoker admired so.
@ethangunner You're in luck. A new version has just been filmed titled STYRIA, shot in Hungary and starring Stephen Rhea. Kindly check out "Carmilla's Heart" among my videos.
This is much better than your earlier, wordless version! Everything makes sense now, and I can follow the narrative and distinguish the characters.Hooray! I don't understand why the radio production changed Laura's name to Margaret, but other than that this is a very fine adaptation indeed.
I really appreciate your work, zahir13. I've been working with "Carmilla" for awhile, and your thoughtfulness really impresses me--true to the source material. Thanks, and keep at it.
<3 I love Rolf Løvland music, and of course Carmilla
