@barbsandcyd California Family law for unwed fathers is extremely difficult. The only reason I have that picture is because my son was a baby during court and was appointed a third lawyer for his defense. That lawyer thought the whole case was unfair and gave me the photo after I lost.

@tolliver610 I went to their house and tried to speak with her father and the cops were called on me. They asked me to leave their doorstop (they never answered the door). Shortly after they moved. No idea where they or the baby are now.

Sad that you are an unwed father trying to do the right thing for your son, and ultimately aren't allowed. Don't give up, man. Your son deserves to grow up knowing the father who fought for him. Concerning the religion issue, I don't have enough characters remaining to even get into that. I can identify, though, since my girlfriend and I are going through religious issues as well. Just remember perseverance and faith.

@SarumanSp93 Religions are by far one of the largest causes of people dying over the history of mankind. Not to mention all that cross religion bullshit, where someone can't be together with someone else because of their religion.. We are fucking human beings, all of us.. What does it have to do with what god someone wants to believe in? I'm personally an atheist, but I also do understand people who are into religions.. But what I don't understand is why are religions allowed to effect us?

You have the right to see your son. No religion in the world can keep you from seeing and visiting and playing with your son every weekend (of course if you can do that) and during school vacations.
We have a court system in this country. It works fine in most cases. So, please use it. Talk to your wife. If she does not understand, lawyer up and sue. I am a father and i can certainly understand what you are going through.

@jimg778 I try to get to church at least twice a week and if I had to make the decision I would never get an abortion but I can not force my faith on others nor do I wish them to force theirs on me. I will go have a talk with my priest though, thanks for the advice. :)

@barbsandcyd California Family law for unwed fathers is extremely difficult. The only reason I have that picture is because my son was a baby during court and was appointed a third lawyer for his defense. That lawyer thought the whole case was unfair and gave me the photo after I lost.

But we wont the baby and do a family! ...was really hard!...on 24 years, I return the university..and begon a 2° career..for 6 years!...she work while I worked by day and study by night!...so today are a common family middle class, I have postgraduate...and a good job as a professor into university...
