Nice but can I offer a suggestion? The thick black shadow under the plate gives the illusion the plate is floating in air. Thin the black out a little. Keep up the nice vids. :)
@theTRUE1414 This one went kind of fast: t_paint=2.5 hours. (not including preparations like building the shadow box, making the composition, tweaking the lighting with towels and wooden boards, etc). I didn't let anything dry. The canvas allows a very easy blending of paint, facilitating wet-into-wet painting....
@josvanr thanks for the reply .. wow 2.5 hours.. i though this took longer .. still its amazeing .. its just the way i want to learn how to paint. I have my art exam toommorw but watching these videos helped me plan and think about the still life im about to do .. thank you very much for posting them ! and keep up the amazeing work
@ferretace Paint was 'Old Holland' (bought a 40 ml tube of cadmium yellow dark yesterday, 30 euro.. auch). For medium I used equal parts stand oil (from 'Verfmolen De Kat') and walnut alkyd medium (Graham).
I knew I'd heard that kid screaming at every painting! Thought you had a "screamer" in your neighborhood!!!
