  • cela ressemble a fat larry band lookin for

  • Very cool! Thanks Miss Flyy, for helping to keep the funk alive! You might consider adding New Yorking - i don't think anybody else has put it out there yet. Check the musician credits. . . .

  • @Tableteria I agree with you on the quality of the original, compared to the overdubbed versions. Both are good, but the original wins. But it just goes to show, you can't keep a good song down. :) I will put "New Yorkin'" on my channel (it's a great song!) and update the text with the musicians' credits as well. I know you were on there, can't hide from me. (Just kidding). Again, thanks for opening my eyes and ears to the original recording!

  • You should use the original album cover, which features the original members of WDF. This re-release has an awful bubble-sounding percussion overlaid on the original track. BTW, bassist Woudy Hughes created Seven Minutes' distinctive bassline

  • @Tableteria Hey there! I didn't know this was a re-release. I found this LP back in 1984 or something and back then nobody knew what it was, I bought it because it looked funky and it is. :) Thank you so much for the info on the conga overdubs, I will buy the original LP or the CD, if it's out on CD!

  • @missfunkyflyy I have checked it out and saw that it is not available on CD, but it will be out on a re-issued LP in February 2011. I will buy it, again, thanks for the information.

  • @Tableteria Thank you, Giz, I have now purchased the *original* LP (it's readily available as a reissue). I will add the non-overdubbed version of this song, and "Ain't Nothing But Something To Do", a.s.ap.p
