the dodos are nothing like animal collective. this is the only song you can really say the two sound similar. if you listen to both bands at the very least a decent amount, you can see how different they are. visiter is a sweet album, but the dodos don't exactly have a wide range of sounds, while animal collective have reinvented themselves and changed their style so many times, it's silly to say that they have similar aesthetics.
