  • The answer to your question is your account... thank you!

  • I'll tell you briefly: My first real epic song was "Two Steps From Hell - Atlantis". I heard this in a Finnish TV commercial in 2009 (Expedition, Mark Burnett). I started to search for the presenter from one of the forum, and a few months later I received a reply and that's how it started... First Two Steps From Hell and then more!

    Greetings from Finland! ;)

  • Epic music always surround me in my life... Just I never know the name of this type of music...

until I found out Antonio / DragonDsSlayer channel then I knew its name... Epic music.

Through him, I knew you too ~‿~

    but...

  • I was a pure metalhead for the longest time. I loved the soundtrack from LotR, but I thought that epic music like that was hard to come by and it wasn't available to just listen to. I first discovered E. S. Posthumus with a webcomic author's music playlist embedded in her site (I went back and thanked her, of course). So, I went a-YouTube surfing for it. I spent over six hours online listening to ESP and TSFH that day. Now it's helping me battle major depression, there's nothing I'd rather hear.

  • I was looking for mods for the game Oblivion and found one, which was called Nehrim, an complete new game based on the graphics and other things of Oblivion. I watched the trailer of this game and the music immediately caught my attention. It was 'Heart of Courage' by Two Steps From Hell, which is still one of my favorite tracks, and this track impressed me so much, that I wanted more and more of this music. And this is how I still feel today, my favorites on Youtube are growing every day :D

  • Never had a personal computer till 05' or 06'. So, for me, movie scores were all I could listen too. I loved the music used for most trailers on tv. Had no clue where they came from. Couple years after I started an online life, so to speak, I first heard such music on an amv video. I think it was fan made trailer for a book. The maker of that video is now my friend continues to show me even more epic music.

  • Hi from Belarus! :)

The same story, bro: firstly osts and scores, then - trailer music and different epic music groups, like 'Two steps...' etc.

My favourite is 'Dark Ages', but I have already heard a lot.

p.s. I try to write fantastic novel (and have some short-stories) for a couple of years, and all these music - is the best music for writing and imagination.

  • You know you're my favourite epic channel, right? :)

Well,I've heard this kind of music about 4years ago, while I was watching a Supernatural video (which is my favourite tv show)that had a track from two steps from hell(False King) in the Background.

I immediately thought: Wow! What a great Kind of music!

Since then I started to know Immediate Music, xray dog, etc...

I had never known about this kind of music before, or maybe I did,but I 've never cared I guess.

  • tu lo sai che sei il mio channel epico preferito no? :)

  • My Story is Almost the exact same as yours Sindrannaras, Star Wars The Phantom Menace was the first soundtrack i fell in love with at age 6 and now at age 18 it is still one of my number one favorite soundtracks. • The first music I heard was Fahrenheit by immediate music on an amv featuring Claymore. Of course the song used wasn't mentioned in the video description, so it took me a year until I finally found it.

  • My first epic music track i heard was "Protectors of the Earth". After that, i had to hear more :) And i havent stopped ever since.

  • I first noticed about trailer music from my older brother. So I'm grateful for him letting me listen to it. It has also been two years for me since I first noticed epic music. The first trailer music artist I have listened to was TWO STEPS FROM HELL and I have been a fan ever since. I started subscribing to epic music channels and there just happens to be more music like this. It's very FASCINATING!! >:D

  • I was a fan of Starcraft and loved their cinematics for the second release. Fire and Honor is the first epic soundtrack I listened to. Then came the main trailer music with Audiomachine's Akkadian Empire. That one blew my mind. I became an instant fan of that song and was a fan of Audiomachine for about 2 months. Then I saw for the first time the Epic Music Mix of Legend X by Revennaras and that opened me up to the broader world of Epic Music. Nowadays I am a devout follower of this art.

  • Same as you, I always liked the soundtrack songs with choir. Then a friend linked me to Liberty Shield by Immediate Music, about 2 years ago. Mow my iPod is more than half-filled with Immediate Music, Audiomachine and Two Steps From Hell.

  • I began my journey when i was looking for the Requiem for a Tower on the Two Towers LOTR trailer. Then i started to look at Future World Music and Intermediate Music. Then towards Two Steps from Hell, Audiomachine and Position Music. I've realised it was time to subscribe some channels. As i have progressed listening to every single track, i have subscribed some more and put the best videos into my favourites. By the end of the day, i became a part of the Epic Music Creed.

  • I became a fan of Epic music when I started my YT account, my friend said listen to Steve Jablonsky I did, was great, then I started to search for more Epic music on YT and find some really good channels, after that I was lost,it was so much great Epic music out there, and now I need the epicness music :) Not a day without♥

  • I always liked the musical scores. Then one Day while looking up basketball videos, i saw a Grizzlies- Trailblazers mix done by Maximillian. Serenata-immediate music was playing in the background. At the time I didnt know what the song was called, so i looked all over youtube for the song. Eventually found it upon chance, and i haven't, put trailer music down since

  • I had always enjoyed listening to movie soundtracks or music like O Fortuna and Requiem. But of all the tv intros I had watched my favorite was definitely for Planet Earth, After searching for quite some time for it i had found it, "The Time Has Come" Vol. 1 of Epic Score and I bought all there albums at the time. Then one day just for fun i was just typed in Epic Score playlist on youtube, and in that playlist i stumbled upon "The Brave Shall Rise"by ImmediateMusic and thats when it began.

  • Known it since i played WoW - TBC, However got very interested after playing Mass Effect 2 and listeting to Two Steps from Hell - Heart of Courage. Then i begain like searching YouTube for this kind of music and ran to Ravennaras!Tnx for being so epc buddy :)

  • O Fortuna from Excalibur was the first epic song that I can remember to have thrilled me, I was 10 or 12 not sure, and obviously there were many before it, but only after that movie I tried to scour everywhere to find this kind of music, all attempts were met with failure and I have to wait until 2 years ago when I finally found a reliable source to quench my thirst, you guys on Youtube, just wonder how so few can appreciate this music....

  • I always liked to listen to the soundtracks of the movies, and at some point while listening to them I saw a Audiomachine video in the related section. After that I found more about the genre and discovered others like TSFH, Inmediate Music, Epic Score, Future World Music, etc. I am really glad that such music exist, I dont know how I would be now otherwise.

  • After watching the Warcraft Movies of Tales of the Past by Martin Falch and listening to the songs that he chose led me to search some of the artists. Then I searched for more "Epic Music" and I got hooked on Sindrannaras/Revennaras & DragonstarDT mixes. I still check up on Sind's page weekly for new mixes :). It was actually on my Youtube homepage that showed me Sindrannaras commenting on this video.

  • When I was young and lacking in knowledge of the official terms used to describe cinematic orchestral, I called it "Epic Music," thinking that the actual genre was called "Epic." It's so awesome that I used to refer to it as "Epic" music and people knew what I was talking about. Nowadays, though, the word Epic is flung around to describe anything worth mild entertainment. Its glorious title isn't easily understood anymore.

  • Like many others, my impactful first taste was Requiem for a Dream. For some reason, despite not having been conditioned into cinematic orchestral, I instantly knew that I loved that genre of music. I wasn't aware of how to find more like it back then, though, seeing as I was an internet noob. Ever since a few years ago, my epic library has drastically expanded.

  • Before knowing Trailer Music, I was a Huge Soundtrack collector, and I used to listen to music in TV advertisments thinking Where the Hell do they get their music !! They were two pieces of music, the first is "Here Comes The King" by X-Ray Dog, the other piece was from a video of France In World Cup 2006 (Called France World Cup Movie), which is "Nara" by E.S. Posthumus.

Since then, I started Listening to Trailer music heavily, with my favourite album ever being "illusions" by T. Beregesen

  • I watched the blood diamond Trailer and started searchig for the soundtrack which is by Brand X Music - Forgotten World. I never knew about trailer music then, so the search turned out to be really really hard and then once I listened to that. I started researching the roots of EPICNESS!

Anyways how I got into trailer music, I was listening to a trailer music station on my psp when I heard a song by Immediate music called Serenata. When I looked it up on Youtube the world of trailer music open up to me. I actually used the song Serenata in a montage on my channel called ps3 universal war. I love trailer scores!

  • Weirdly enough, I actually owe Twilight the start of my epic music fascination. The trailer music in their trailer for their first movie really intrigued me, so I did some searching around one day, and found out it was called "Mercy In Darkness" by Two Steps From Hell.

  • I always loved this kind of music but never searched for it. It all began with the trailer music for X3. This is how I got infected with the epic music virus. Both, Immediate Music and Two Steps From Hell are genius music composers. I wonder when Hollywood discovers them as movie composers. A lot of other movie score composers can learn something from them.

  • It started for me in 2005. It was a fan trailer for Serenity featuring a piece by Epicon (Immediate Music). That led to a query for the music title in the comments section and once I had a name, I ran a search and found more epic music I liked. You Tube is awesome because the channel artists who upload to it are awesome! Thank you for making life so much sweeter, each and every one of you. Kudos!

I found out who the lead composer was: Yoav Goren. He influenced me to create my own trailer music company called Broken World Music.

  • Often I'd record trailer for the music sake. I heard heart of courage on the tv trailer for legend of the seeker, but could not find out the artist until my brother found the trailer for ME2 and told me the artist goes about the name of TSFH;then there were these mixes.Channels that had lots of this music.Yours among them.

So i found out about epic music. And i can say it still gives me the thrill I felt 2 years ago when i listened to it for the very first time.

  • Yeah, I guess the stories of all soundtrack-lovers are almost the same. Mine is pretty simple:

I saw trailers and wanted to hear the full tracks. So I went to YT and found some of them. The first soundtrack-producing "group" I knew was Epic Score, then Audiomachine and then TSFH. Now, I suscribed some epic-soundtrack-channels like yours to stay tuned about epic soundtracks for my own trailers. The end...:)

  • Davvero un ottimo lavoro! Nonostante conoscessi già qualche esempio di musica epica, grazie a questo canale ho scoperto un mondo nuovo, dandomi l'opportunità di realizzare diversi amv ;D Continua così! :D

  • The only thing I want to say is that I am glad I found your channel .

After a while I found it and it was "Heart of Courage" by Two Steps From Hell. Till this moment I listened to more tracks from them and finally I found your channel where I listened to more and more epic tracks. Thank you for your hard work to upload all these awesome tracks and I’m glad that I found a lot of incredible composer + songs due your channel :)

  • I didn't like any of the music of today. In fact, I didn't like music at all.

Until I listened to an epic music mix on youtube.

Three months ago, I had never heard of Two Steps From Hell or Audiomachine or Epic Score.

And now, I spend hours a day listening to these awesome tracks! ^^
