  • The most amazing rendition I have ever heard of that song ....thank you for sharing !!!

  • Still years later I watch this video and break into tears as i feel the emotion of the crowed flow from the video. This is our final chance America to make it in this world, and what we need is people to guide it.

  • Em, while I love to see any nation celebrating our culture... just to point out that the Scots are not remotely conservative/centre-right. Rather, we are centre-left liberals and always have been. So I hope nobody was thinking of Scotland when they heard its national instrument played by people in its national dress, as Glenn Becks views are entirely alien to the Scots. Sorry. Otherwise no a bad rendition, but pipes a tad out of tune.

  • That was simply the best rendition of amazing grace ever recorded ....amazing and beautiful and moved me ....thank you for sharing :-)

  • That might be the worst rendition of amazing grace that ever existed.

  • what a song but jesus christ glenn beck is the biggest dickhead to ever walk on this planet how fucking stupid and spineless do you need to be to listen to this ball-less fuckbag????

  • White pipes and Black soul ... makes me damb proud

  • Great performance.. but thoses pipes aint tuned right chanters are off!! and the pipers should have their feet together in a V shape ..(heel to heel) toes pointed outwards!

  • i wish i could have gone to the rally

  • how could people dis like this video

  • @naruotno1fangal Cuz They Are Closed Minded Progressive Elitist Types Who Can't See The Truth From Atop Their Ivory Tower. God Bless America.

  • I was there and it was amazing. God Bless Glenn, Patriots and the U.S.A.!

  • What a wonderful rendition of Amazing Grace...Gave me the chills. May god Bless all these people, and may God bless America.

  • A conservative saying that an event like this isn’t political is like a liberal

saying a rally organized by Michael Moore isn’t political. Don’t be ridiculous.

This was one big republican love-fest.

The irony here is that Beck would have been one of the people calling MLK a communist if he was alive today.

  • all white all pure white racism

  • @hpprinter12345 - The battle for freedom is "the Right" against "the Left". I agree with you that the GOP and Dems are both the problem. But Left and Right is something different. Conservatives believe in individual liberty and a much smaller restrained and limited federal government. The Left believes in the opposite. THAT is the battle we face.

  • Great event. Politics is not the answer, government is not the answer. We are. We have got to find the things we can disagree on, and move past them to bring goodness, honor, and love back into the people.

  • The only thing in this great nation of toleration that we cannot allow to exist is a determined enemy determined to destroy toleration by attempting to kill God, culture and morals. God bless the thousands of Americans who stand shoulder to shoulder to say NO to anarchy and dictatorship of socialistic government.

  • God Bless You Glen and all those who participated. There is power in this act through HIS amazing grace!!!!! Just wait and see.

  • OMG How hatful and racist...... Not peaceful like Sharpton screaming like the aggitator he is talking about Beck and those pesky little hijackers...... Sharpton is what he always has been... A man who has to stir up racism to keep his pocket book full.

  • @isaac19delta Gotta love Al's comment of "We (blacks) know how to sucker punch ya!" at his rally.

  • I always think it's so great to see a black American sing this song given the historical context of its creation. And the Left accuses us of racism. I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!

  • @molonlabe10 yeah good to see one black in 10.000 people stand next to racist redneck haters

  • @billybob101013 so I guess Martin Luther Kings niece has no idea what she's talkin about huh? Well crap, who's gonna let her know? I call not it.

  • @jtwidmer the niece knows what she is doing getting paid lol

if some racist pay me i say any thing the racist ask me to say

  • this was so amazing

  • Love the bagpipes and the song however gb is a CIA shitstarter possibly the worst

  • I hate bag pipes. They make me weep, no matter what is played on them. *****

  • I enjoyed every moment in Washington, D.C. The event was miraculous! Thank you for sharing a Historic event that will save America!

  • Sorry, but i had to say these:

What's the difference between a Bagpipe & an onion? No one cries when you cut up a bagpipe... What's the difference between a Bagpipe & a Trampoline? You take off your shoes b4 jumping on a trampoline... Why do Bagpipe players walk when they play? To get away from the sound..... Sorry everyone... I couldn't resist!!! ;) This was an absolutely video & experience..... :D

  • Opps, i meant amazing in between absolutely & video... :0 lol

  • Someone slipped and hit dislike!

  • when we've been there ten thousand years bright shining as the sun we've no less time to sing his praise than when we first begun. last verse.

  • The words of the song and the history of the song are BOTH very much on point! It's time black people forgive the whites and vice versa. It's time for people for all color to stop wasting time hating one another. It time to join in greater efforts -- like maybe making America a great place for all of us to live! In order to do that, we must repent on an individual basis first.

God bless the piper! We should all follow.

  • Feet together pipers...

  • @hotfirefighter24 One of the best renditions of Amazing Grace ever. Thanks and may God bless all of you guys!

  • I have to confess, I am ashamed to admit, I only know the first verse of this. Does this mean I am a bad person?

  • @BKDellConservFiction Absolutely NOT! It's the message of the song that is important+++God's Amazing Grace! We were lost but now found, Blind but now we see. God saves all of us, even a wretch like me.

  • @BKDellConservFiction No. It means you just only know the first verse like millions of other. God Bless.

  • The Montgomery County Firefighters Pipes and Drums (and especially myself as the solo piper) are honored to be part of this great and honorable moment in American History!! Thank you to everyone who was in attendence!!!!!! America is and always will have greatness intwined in it speople!

  • @hotfirefighter24 ...ya did good,Thanks!

  • @hotfirefighter24 It was a very moving, and fitting end to a great restoration. You did dynamite! Be proud, and save this to show your kids what you did to save this country.

  • @hotfirefighter24 Great Job, Grandma will be proud to see this!!

  • Beautiful!

  • Anyone interested in John Newton or William Wilberforce needs to watch the Movies "Amazing Grace" 2006 and "The Amazing Grace" 2007. GREAT history!

  • One of the young boys he mentored as a pastor grew up to become the famous William Wilberforce. William Wilberforce was inspired by God to end the European slave trade! Even after Wilberforce LOST this fight with the parliament several times, it was through the continued encouragement of his now blind pastor, John Newton, to continue until victory. It was VERY powerful to sing Amazing Grace in our Nation’s Capital yesterday.

  • The story of John Newton’s life is amazing and truly is a testimony to the Grace and Mercy of Almighty God! John Newton, who wrote Amazing Grace, was a slave trader who ran slave ships. He was hardened by his work, however, GOD IS SO GOOD, through the slaves him imprisoned he heard the gospel of JESUS CHRIST! He had a radical encounter with almighty God, left the slave trade and became a pastor. God wasn’t finished with him yet! (read next post)

  • Amazing Grace was written by John Newton. He was a slave trader, converted to abolitionist in 1772. So why would such a song be featured at a "Restoring Honor" rally? Think, people, think.

  • @vechorik Mabye you should think. Listen hard real hard. It doesn't matter who wrote it, your completely missing the message.

  • @vechorik John Newton was considered VERYdegenerate... THEN in 1748 he became a Christian it took 7 years for Newton to leave slaving. In that time he was changing, by 1758 his friends suggest he become a minister. 10 years after becoming a Christian, friends recommend him become a minister, there was THAT MUCH a change. 21 years later he wrote Amazing Grace. 31 years of change and growth.

    Read the words:

Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a WRETCH like me. I once WAS LOST...

  • great. thanks for posting
