the easyist way to get rid off them is rubbing baby shampoo onto your eye (in a vertical motion) once or more per day.... or the easy option, have it removed. Quick and Painless
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or Sodium Laureth Sulfate, are used in laboratories to produce blepharitis symptoms in animals. They are also found in almost every shampoo on the market. Including the baby shampoo that the doctor tells you to use for scrubbing your eyes. Eliminating these substances is a good first step to treating Blepharitis. I have suffered for years, and finally have been able to clear my eyes by eliminating shampoo, and using castor oil to treat the infected area.
Oh! I apologize for my post below. How rude can a person get? I was dealing with the aftereffects of having stopped taking Effexor (tapered off), one of which was, to put it politely, impatience, or, slightly less politely, irritation, which was easily tipped into rage. Not to mention a deeper depression than I had before meds. I gave up & went back on them. Thanks for your response. You were diplomatic.
Respond to this video... Flax seed oil MUST be absolutely FREE of rancidity to be used. It goes rancid VERY easily. I have been swallowing it for 13 years, and I find it quite palatable IF it is kept from being rancid. Study this oil. It is good and very delicate.
Thank's for posting this! I never had a stye in my eye, ever.......I did the hot tea bag treatment, it finally popped on it's own, but is taking a while to heal, as I still have redness in the eye where the stye was......and on the rim of my eye.......I will try the flaxseed oil......I actually have flaxseed oil in tablet form! Hope I never get this again!
Have blepharitus for about 6 months now. I think its in the form of MGD or Mybomian Gland Disease. I've used warm compresses followed up with eyelid massages (that help more). I've also used Flaxseed oil and cod liver oil prescribed by my doctor. However I still have it which makes it extremely difficult to do anything at all. I saw a recent video on youtube - have a look at this:
What do you mean with 'take flaxseed oil'?
Drink it, or put it in the eye?

Best way to sort this S.O.B disease out ,is to take 2-3 tablespoons of flaxseed oil
everyday,and at bedtime,close your eyes and apply plenty of Aloevera/colloidal silver
gel to your eyelids- rinse off with warm water in the morning.
Your eyes will feel like new after only 2-3 days.

You talk too fast! Especially for multisyllabic medical terms. Please slow down.

@ruby2zdy - You're right. It's a problem with whippersnappers under the age of 40.
