i bought iplayer and download newest firmware like its said in instruction to do so. i puted in on micro sd , puted it in iplayer and turn on my ndsi. it showed a "fish tycoon" icon so i clicked it and it showed :"an error has occurred . press and hold the POWER Button to turn system off.Please refer to the nintendo dsi operations manual for details." so i turned it off and it still not working.. can somebody help me please ?? sory for bad english

Just to clear things up:

The iPlayer does NOT play DS roms. It DOES play GBA roms, music, and video.

If you want a cart that will play DS roms, I would recommend the DSTT or DSiTT.

I'm planning on buying the iPlayer and using it with my DSiTT to play all the games I could ever want :)

Yes it does, homebrew. .nds as in NDS roms - NO. I just got this card today, and it's well worth it just for the (superb) video playback and GBA emulator; essential since I now own a DSi

Flash cards are used to play "Backups of games you own" So if you do not own a game and download roms of it then it is illegal. However say you own some Game boy games and have a dsi but cant play them then you can get a flash card and use homebrew to play roms of those games, That is legal. However downloading game willy nilly and playing them all the time and everywhere is illegal and stupd

the company that made R4 made an up-to-date version called R4i, wich is compatible with the DSi. Previous versions of R4 are recognized and blocked by the DSi, as well as any ActionReplay.

@thekhamphoumys iPlayer is for playing music, video and for homebrew. R4SDHC, AK2i and other flash cards are for playing ds games. All you do is to download the roms, put them on an micro SD card and then play. Having both is what I suggest. You can play gba on dsi with iPlayer.(homebrew)

-Yes, they released a firmware update for DSi Version 1.4

-Yes, you can Emulate GBA on it.

-Yes, you can play .avi files.

-No, you can't play DS Roms.

Just Google + your Country to get a proper site where you can buy it from.

It is indeed possible to play GB, GBC, GBA, NES and SNES Roms.

However, to play it you'll have to download a special Emulator, you can find them by googling something like... SNES Emulator DS.

Yes, there are, but the GBA emulator only works on the iPlayer card, because it has a built in memory and (not sure about it) processing unit, which is pretty cool.

I bought 8 Gig SD card with it, so I'm playing all kinds of series like Megaman NT Warrior on it. xD

don't bother. The thing doesn't work anymore (got it 3 weeks ago) and the guy on ebay claims it's because of the latest Nintendo system update. Can't find anything to corroborate this and the dsiplayer people won't answer a friggin' email. So now I'm stuck with a $50 worthless little card.
