  • Damn you're hot.

  • Glad your surgery went well, and your recover is going great. But sorry to hear your doc is a sort of a wanker. Over looking things like your allergy and not answer questions? That's odd. But yay for the awesome nursing staff.

  • Thanks heaps for the info, ive been thinking of getting a hysto, so great to hear some things about it. How much was it? And may i ask what some of the feed back from the guys you spoke to were.. why they do it/why they dont, the benifits etc.. I'm pretty interested in that stuff. Thanks heaps again for your Vlog!!

  • so do u have to have a pap smear still?

  • @cubecalirican A pap smear is no longer required as a pap tests the changes in the cervix- which I had removed. So there is nothing for them to test. However- it is still advised to have a "vault smear" every few years just to double check in on things. However, that is up to the person whether they feel the need to take that extra precaution.

  • you look like travis garland lol. it's ridiculous! but that's a compliment!

  • Congrats Gabe! Good to hear you're healing fast.

  • did you have a problem with the stitches when you had the removed? apparently elbeaini is known for doing them too tight, thus making them hard to remove. i had a young girl who freaked out when she went to take mine out and bitched about how tight he does them, haha.

  • @FIGHTTOEXHALE You know whats scary...I still have my stitches in. This is what I was talking about regarding him not answering my questions. He said they were disolvable, but I'm unsure if he meant internal stitches or the obvious outter ones? I'm just shy of 2weeks post op and the stitches look the same as day 1...

  • @inkywook hm.. yeah, i believe the internal ones were (for obvious reasons, of course), but the outer ones?? i had mine taken out before i left the hospital. if i were you dude, i'd just get a stitch cutter and take them out yourself. it's not like you're gonna burst open and lose yr insides from those tiny holes and it's better than having yr skin grow over the stitches.

  • Great video Gabe, really informative, all the stuff we need to know you covered. So great you had such minimal pain dude! awesome and reassuring to hear. Real bummer about the doc not explaining stuff properly and his prescription! That's crazy that he knew you are allergic to penacilin and still prescribed that! But congrats man, awesome you no longer have to have the post coital cramps. you must be so relieved to have the embarressment over and done with!

  • Your stubble looks sexy as brad pitt on a good day :) So glad it all went well! Congratulations!

  • I don't live in Australia, but is this type of hysto the "standard" and best one for ftm's?

  • @Whitedoggy24 I believe its self preferance. In the end its the same procedure just different healing times and scarring. Some public hospitals will do the key hole, and some will only do the incision. I went via private health so to be sure I would have my own room for healing and the key hole procedure with minimal scarring. But as I said- theres no real set surgery for this procedure.

  • great informative video, thanks a lot for posting this!

  • Glad to hear your surgery went well. That's shit about your Surgeon though! What a douche! Some of these f'kers think they're gods! x

  • I've been following your journey and am very thankful for your input and experience. Do you think that it would be pretty unbearable to have gotten your chest surgery and hysto round the same time? I was considering Anne Pike but will prolly swap Joe after hearing the different techniques. U worry me with your packing and his bedside manner. But anyway, thanks heaps for your help so far. Congratz on the sucessful surgery!

  • @MrAidanLiam My personal choice would be to wait between surgeries. My chest operation was more dibilitating that the hysto, but I can't imagine having to deal with both at the same time. Don't worry about the packing. Its uncomfortable for the first night, but it comes out within 24hrs if not sooner, the removal itself takes a minute or so. Its not plesant but take some deep breaths and you'll power through it. Choice of surgeon is important, but I believe nurses are the key to vital healing.
