Sounds like you should have just invested in a Palm Pre instead. In fact I just finished watching this video from mine and I am amazed every single day by what it does. I currently have 7 apps open including mms (that works) and being on a 4G network the video streamed flawlessly.

Apple knew exactly what they where doing when they didn't put video in the first iPhone. They knew peaple were going to buy it anyways even with out video. They knew video would be a big thing and a key selling feature for the next(or the 3rd) iPhone. If the new iPhone came without Video and with only a few new mild features. I still think that MMS is not really useful, as we have evolved to use social network such as facebook and twitter, what's the point of MMS when you need to share your photos or videos to hundreds of friends all over the world? MMS can't do it for free nor cheap!
The point is the OS is still overall better than Symbian OS, not just the hardware you know? Of course, Symbian OS does have its own useful features for business use too many that I can't name them all, but so do iPhone OS have so many cool stuff that is too long to list them and compare.

i had a LG prada and i now have an iphone. i agree, the prada had touch screen first..... but the iphone revolutionized it.
The whole thing about third party apps, is how apple delivers them and how they have changed the way companies produce their smart phones, and how they use third party developers to enhance them.
Although i would just like to point out the iphone was announced b4 the prada came out and the iphone was in development for years even before the idea of the prada existed.
Functionality over fashion of course but you've got to remember that Apple has the market when it comes to "COOL" and it does have a cool design as with most Apple products.
You make it sound like there is a difference in 3G and 3GS size, by saying it isn't noticeable, but you're wrong. There is NO DIFFERENCE. Only difference is the 3GS is 2 grams heavier, which has nothing to do with the exterior.

But may I say just 1 thing without offending any1 pls? & don't get me wrong if u like the ifones. What about the SIZE? It is bigger than my freaking penis. Yes I have a small penis but thats not our priority concern here. Apple has or should I say had an obsession with size like Mac book air, imac and etc. So I say this: Take off the features that NO 1 USES and resize it to half of its current size and name your price! Now your reply should be AGREE or DISAGREE.

thank you apple. i was waiting for you to add video and mms so i can get back at all those blackberry users that are always ranting on the iphone for not having video and mms........ but i am also very disapointed is at&t for not "allowing" teathering with the 3g S is now capable of doing and for not "allowing" mms for the iphone 3gS. but all in all i am excited for the new iphone

all of you saying that the iphone suck all of these new updates it should already have it you need to understand that apple was really never planning on a new phone but they had to think that the palm pre is out thats a good phone some might say its better just because it has the normal stuff most phones don't have" which is a reason someone might change for those little things. so apple just said lets just make a new iphone and give it this stuff all other phones have and more

7.2 ? it's not even supported by ATT....so that's totally useless.....This phone should've been the very first iphone that hit the market...then it would've been a big deal.....I like how all of these reviews try to justify and sell these features like no other phone has it....I mean please, a way overhyped product......They should stick with Ipods & Macbooks...get out of the phone business...they're eventually even going to lose their diehard iphone fans...They need to do a total overhaul

I mean geesh, they could've atleast thrown on a xenon flash....would've made it more appealing......They need to make up their minds where this is going to go...is it an ipod with a phone....or are they concentrating on highlighting it's mulimedia features to it's fullest potential? They could've done little more with the phone....At the rate the phones future is going they'll always be 5 years behinds what's on the market..which means the phone will dissapear.

Well, having a 5 MP camera is good for other things....I think Apple is confused by what year it is...it's 2009 not 2004 thye're unveiling features that are even on lower end cellphones...wheres the "WOW" factor???

Nope. Just wait for the next iPhone (there's probably going to be a new one every year) because everything is going to come free in the 3.0 software except the compass which you prolly dont need, battery life but thats not really a big deal, right? And the bigger size of memory and low price, but its probably going to be $99 next year. Who's in a hurry?

how come evrytime the iphone gets new features like a 3mpx camera or mms its so amazing and evryone gets so excited about it but those things have been around for years....now were starting to see 12mpx cameras on phones but you dnt really hear about those so wats so great about the iphone

Apple had a game plan with the Iphone! When they first introduced they knew that other providers would imitate it, providing pesky competition. Thus Apply intentionally withheld BASIC features like MMS, txt forwarding, Video record, and flush headphone jack JUST SO they could release them in later versions and keep up with the newborn touchscreen feature-phone market!!!

it might have been in development for years...according to you, but never the less Prada was out first.....Iphone hurt itself by going exclusively with ATT.....in addition to a sealed phone....with no expansion for memory....I mean If I'm in Walmart and I want to use the Digital kiosk to mae a copy of a picture.....I can just pop in my memory card..not with Iphone...you have to stand there and transmit via bluetooth...but many times the bluetooh on Kiosk never works....It's ladened with too

In response to a comment sent back to me...Iphone did not revolutionize touchscreen technology...LG prada had it 6 months prior....The phone is not iconic, if other companies are trying to get a leg up on them....well they already have. Most recognized third party app phone? Sorry I was using third party apps on my HTC 8525 way before Iphone was thought about.....You're an iphone fan..that's cool but get your facts straight! The Iphone 3gs is a dissapointment even core fans say that.

i had a LG prada and i now have an iphone. i agree, the prada had touch screen first..... but the iphone revolutionized it.
The whole thing about third party apps, is how apple delivers them and how they have changed the way companies produce their smart phones, and how they use third party developers to enhance them.
Although i would just like to point out the iphone was announced b4 the prada came out and the iphone was in development for years even before the idea of the prada existed.

You make it sound like there is a difference in 3G and 3GS size, by saying it isn't noticeable, but you're wrong. There is NO DIFFERENCE. Only difference is the 3GS is 2 grams heavier, which has nothing to do with the exterior.
