  • The most beautiful car from f1 Red Bull Racing team

  • to watch old f1 races go to classicgrandprixclub

  • to watch old f1 races go to classicgrandprixclub

  • 2:45 lol

walking with his umbrella like this was normal

  • I am Brazilian, I love F1, I love Sao Paulo

    ---------------------

Sou brasileiro, eu amo F1, eu amo São Paulo

    Brasiiiiil....

  • well..... this just made the top of my bucket list.....

  • aw i never knew about this. i'd definetely go there just to watch this if i knew they were gonna do it.

    damn...

  • slow.

he is afraid to lose countrol.

  • Just another run to the office

  • what would you do when the police tried to pull you over????? hmmmmmmmmmmm

  • gives your wings

  • The benchmark for impractical has been raised past any oversized v12 hypercar.

  • team of Thailand

  • the car was slipping from left to right.....public road could really killed him...

  • @papercut1987 nah there pretty solid chassis with a tailerd saftey cell which is designed to withstand over 5 tons pressing on it plus the helmet he wears is reinforced with kevlar andf the saftey cell is damperd so it takes most of the load of the impact and the car has a gyroscope inside wich detecs things like this and engages safey features

  • It's not exactly a "public road" in the conventional sense when half the highway is closed to everyone except the race driver and the camera crew. That type of low-speed driving in the wet takes good skills, but its not like he is going to use a turn signal to change lanes.

Also, why was this video uploaded in such poor quality? It must have been filmed well in the first place.

  • Comment removed

  • @Chris45215 probably because it was uploaded back in 2006 and youtube didn't even support better video quality than this back then.

  • so badass..

  • would love if eddie jordan done this in ireland!!!!

  • gotta love Red Bull!

  • Sao Paulo City....Just marvelous. Viva Brazil!!!!

  • Id get a hard on if i ever see an F1 Car on the public roads....literally lol

  • holy fucking shit, that's gnar. that would be so fucking dank

  • The best sound you'll ever get on public roads.

  • A curiosity: the tunnel which you can see around 2:44 is called "Ayrton Senna Tunnel". If you look above the tunnel mouth you can see a sculpture in his honour.

  • Crazy guy @ 2:52, lol!

  • Comment removed

  • Was that Scott Speed? I hope not; I can't stand that guy.

It would be a dying wish come true for me to do this one day but I honestly don't know if I could bring it back in one piece.

  • la hubieran multado jajaja XD

  • Super Coooooooool!!!!!

Preciosa.

  • Thank God that car didn't have slippy tires O_O

    hahahahhaha

  • i bet it's really weird for the driver taking one of those on a public street.

  • and with rain...

also that avenue is very bumpy for a racecar with lots of water ponds.

(I live on the left side, descending, near the 3/4 to the end of the major avenue he "flyed" by)

  • Awesome TEST , in terrible rainy condition.

    Ciao Brazil desde Italia :-D

  • So what the fuck is wrong with the people in this area? An indy car comes cruisin down the street in my area... theres ABSOLUTELY no chance in hell that everybody in the vicinity is not looking. Do these people get this shit all the time or something?

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 Sao Paulo is one crazy city... my friend... you see everything !! And everbody is normaly late for something...

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 HAHA formula 1 car drives by no big deal, you would think the sound alone would make them look

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 This is not a INDYCAR!!!

  • @bwchudy95 There is not that much difference between a Indycar's looks and design in comparison to an F1 car. So I don't see why its such an issue. If its such a HUGE problem then I'll rephrase myself. "A F1 car comes cruisin down the street in my area...". Better? Yes, I think so.

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 looks...maybe, design?? C`mon, there is no comparison between technology and capabilities, except for straight line speed (altough F1 car is never tuned only for speed). F1 teams pack millions every year to improve their car. In Indycar, the chasis changes every 5-6 years. Oh and Indycar is popular only in America. Ask someone anywhere else in the world what is Indycar series, they wont have a clue. F1 is popular all around the world EXCEPT America (for some strange reason)

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 I don't think he cares...and NASCAR, INDYcar and F1 don't have anything on FIA WRC and MotoGP. You wanna race around a track? Do it on a motorcycle. Wanna race a car? Do it where ever you can find traction.

  • @owall83 Although I do respect WRC and MotoGP, I don't really care for motorcycles and offroad courses. Both sports are probably great in their own way but I still give it up to F1. Trying to drive vehicles that weigh nearly half as much as the latest Subaru Impreza WRC and producing around 700hp. It takes massive ability to controle and/or keep something like that on the road.

Oh and NASCAR can go suck a dick. "HE TOOK ANOTHER LEFT TURN!!!"

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 its not an indycar, its an F1 car

  • its an advert for red bull shown in brazil. driver wasn't even trying, piece of piss

  • @RobbyRaiAshtray1122 This was 5 am and they didnt tell anyone that it was going to happen. Otherwise the streets would be crowded with people... we just love F1

  • maybe next time they should choose a sunny day

  • The rain began on the Friday of the previous week, the car would run on Monday, but it was raining, so they decided to wait until the rain ends, but continuous rain throughout the week and they had to run even with rain, the rain only stopped on Sunday.

  • WOW, some day some how i will drive one.!!

  • But, you wont.

  • damn that must be fun xD

  • ANIMAL!!

awesome, where the fuck was I this day?

  • It would be grear if something like this could be done in Sweden =D

  • but its good they do this...its amazing.

  • How could I have missed this! Red Bull really knows how to do marketing! Awesome!!!

  • OMG gives me the chills, Red Bull rules!

  • Fantastico! Bravo, Red Bull Racing!

  • coming home from a honest days work

  • Go Red Bull

  • the ppl driving their cars at the time must had felt so owned. lol just kindin, that was awesome!!! In the wet track??? EVEN BETTER! Nice upload

  • all that power, all that rain aint really a good mix, but even with all the aqua plaining he held it really well fair play, made for a great watch its always great to see the performance of cars like this on the publics roads

  • "Quarter-mile anyone???" :P

  • slippery when wet.

  • i luv the way the pedastrians arn't to botherd by the fact theres a formula 1 car driving past them XD

  • yeah it's kinda funny :DDD "oh it's just another earpiercing loud racecar in downtown" lol

  • I LOVE SÃO PAULO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2:49 the guy crossing the street is WTF / el cabron cruzando la calles se queda como queee peeedo¡¡¡

  • no he's not

  • yes you are right, its so common see racing cars in the street

  • skills. even with rain tires, that was not easy

  • @CJ7with285andt18 well i did it last week

  • @CJ7with285andt18 aint no temperatur in the brakes and tires

  • @CJ7with285andt18 true, public roads don't have even near the grip of racing tracks.

  • The sound is sort of like a plane flying over real low. But he should have been more carefull with his speed on those wet slippery roads.

  • He was actually keeping things pretty tame, compared to what these guys do on the track... you know, for a living.

  • can you make them street legal.

  • Aahhh, the F1 V10 engine...

It's a shame the weather wasn't nicer. I'd love to see a speed run of that route.

  • guess how many people this F1 car awaked up in the morning with its loud roaring motor...

  • Women at 2:46 has got ballz, she didnt even flinch at the sight of a F1 car bearing down on here, LOL like it happens to her every day

  • awesome

  • the car is a repainted jaguar from 2004

  • that is the single greatest Honor i could imagine, driving and F1 car on Public roads and i mean that with all honesty , wow.

  • Vettel or Weber?

  • dates from 2006 so probably weber

vettel was with BMW in 2006

  • it was not webber it was there test driver at that time

  • M. Ammermüller

  • Comment removed

  • the driver is michael ammermuller..

  • It would not be a good idea to have races in the middle of the street because people could get injured and it would involve closing up streets and having races later in the evening and late at night

  • this was made very early in a sunday morning and all the streets involved were closed

  • hahaha yeah but i think it would be a satisfying yet surreal wakie wakie call xD

  • Yes, in a way... I love the Formula One ^^ Im counting the days until the next season starts... (should be a very interesting season with the new cars and new rules ^^ some interessting crashes with KERS [muhahaha]

so this sound will probably music in my ears x)

  • watch out for boy wonder over here

  • F1 is Da Shit!!! Nice Video!

  • imagine if old granny was crossing the road lols nice vid 4/5

  • Who's driving it?

  • WOW!!! thats what i call real advertising! :-)

  • i agree. i think its an effective way to make people interested in the sport since everyone in the city can hear the noise. hehe

  • great vid

    anyone want to chat H5

  • every country F1 goes to they should do that.

  • damn this video is the shyt they probly just randomly did it they should do that alot more

  • However, driving at 5:30 am is really random, they should do it in the middle of the day. Yes, it would require more security, but it would totally be worth it, not only for the fans, but also it would bring more money to the city. It's a win-win deal for both F1 and the city.

  • Such an Awesome idea. They should do this for more F1 events, to promote the race. I swear, if I saw an F1 car randomly driving down the street, I would be so stoked.

  • brazil, são paulo 5:30AM

    eu lembro

5 horas da manhã e cidade ja movimentada

    são paulo >>>>>>>> mundo

  • The guy wif an umbrella at 2:46...lols

  • Too bad it was raining, he might have been able to drive a little bit faster.

  • special trained people with umbrellas crossing the road...

  • weird, where were the audience lol

  • It was 5:30AM

  • Sensacional! Inveja boa heheheheh

  • looks like there was no people!!

  • It was 5:30AM

  • i guess he is not going to be late to work. if it was the morning that noise will wake everyone up and no one will believe you when you say that a f1 woke you up when it went down you road. maybe they will or not

  • hell on wheels..

  • The sound of an F1 car is so damn loud, earsplitting! The sound of that car must've echoed the whole city. Monstrous!

  • Haha that is so cool!

  • 80 kph? @ 2:00 that looks more like 120+

  • melhorr do mundooooo

so quem tem uma cidade igual a nossa

    pode ter um evento dessee....

    eu amo sao pauloooooooooooooooooooooo

    eu amo formula 1

    rafael

  • lol @ 2:45 the guy is just oblivious to a friggin' f1 car passing by

  • does anybody know the nam eof the street?

  • I feel very sorry for the mechanics that would have had to totally rebuild that monster just to get all of that water out!

  • best f1 vid on utube im glad they came fist

  • Good idea. The police won't be able to catch you. But makes a lot of noise though.

  • cool

  • It would be much better a GP in the streets of Sao Paulo instead of Monte Carlo.. with sure!!

  • Nope, I live in Sao Paulo but Monte Carlo is way cooler. Don't be so patriotic like that.

  • this is real car racing not the white-trash nascar crap!

  • yeah this and drag racing r the best

  • who gives a crap if it was sunny or not? at least the driver got the balls to do it nd also, a big thumps up 4 Red Bull 4 even letting one of there cars to be driven on the streets!

  • Brave stuff !!!

  • theres not a car on the road

  • It was closed... Dah

  • move over monte carlo...here comes sao paulo!!

  • show de bola heim

  • waste of time. wet conditions arent the best envio to be runing a F1 for fun.

  • Now, what NASCAR gonna do~!?? Shit in their pants? LMAO!!!! Go home Depot~!! LMAO~!

  • Although I like F1 alot more a top fuel dragster would put that car to shame as far as pure power and acceleration 8000+ boosted hp vs 800hp hmmm.

  • Irrelevant statement.

  • completely lol, drag car dont turn corners

  • haha!!! Owned!!!

I wouldve loved to see that car crash. However, big ups to Redbull for even doing something like that. The noise was just ridiculous! It wouldve been so much better if it was a sunny day.

  • look at rockets and sci fi stuff then, real cars like an f1 turn

  • yeah but for only 5 seconds.

  • it's crazy

    love it

  • omfg... my car is dead

  • lmao

  • hmmmm.... would this engine fit in my ute?? thatd be fun.
