  • I love this tune. Its a glass of wine and a smoke to destress number!

  • i was out there playing in the late '60s. you had to be there to know how wonderful it was.

  • Love this...thank you so much!

  • Saw him play in a muddy field in Buffalo in the early 70's. I wouldn't have missed it for the world.

  • Similar to Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Eric Andersen was born about five years later than he should have been. When Andersen burst onto the scene with his classic album "Bout Changes and Things" the folk era was ending and the era of the British Invasion, psychedelic music and outrageously gifted lead electric guitarmen was just beginning. Both the McGarrigles and Andersen produced some of the most beautiful and intelligent folk music ever written but by then interest in folk music had waned.

  • @dlphcoracl I saw him in Denver in the late 60's. His voice and lyrics have haunted me ever since.

  • @dlphcoracl Popular interest may have faded at the commercial-channel lovel, but this internet invention thingy will ensure that these beautiful, creative and intelligent songs will live and gather followers while they share timeless sentiments in an undated way.,, simply, humanly...

  • The photo is of Eric and David Blue.

  • Loved him back, then. Still love him now. So glad I can listen to all this man's great songs. Check out "Sheila" and "The Woman She was Gentle". Takes me back to a very great time in the world.

  • Very cool! In another lifetime, in a galaxy far, far away I was in a band that played this and some other songs by Eric. "Bout Changes & Things 2 provided the basis for our versions. Post 'em if you have 'em! Thanks . . .
