  • I dare not be the 421st liker

  • what wheels u guys using

  • 240p loaded vid? :O

  • @CaptainShakeel its from 07 what do you expect

  • wheels?

  • No shit? I'm from Omaha we should ride sometime

  • where can i buy a loaded dervish whife clean underside?

  • im ridin some 80As 70mm are my wheels too soft? ive been trying speedchecks and stalfish slides and they become bouncy and somtimes grip and throw me off... is this related to the wheels or just my technique?

    Thanks for the help bros.

  • @mauriciog1612 no its not your wheels at all go faster and learn colemans there safer heres a good video for them watch?v=6t1hj6NL9U0

  • The sound of Adam's wheels when he is sliding is killing me, sounds like horrible wheels, Divines ftw <3 slides like butter and lasts forever <3

  • their speed checks are pretty shit here haha. good to see everyone started off bad

  • Yeah stalefish!! The only grab I'll do!

  • what wheels do you have on your dervish?!?!? they're like butter!...I want some :(

  • those wheels slide like butter..... haha

  • 1:34 :D

  • dervish looks very clean and nice with no graphic :D

  • @Uncharted182 i had a vanguard and just got a tan tien about a week ago. great board. you would probably be good with a flex 3 tan tien (weight range 80-170 pounds)

  • Hey i´m thinking of buying a Tan tien, at the moment i have a Vanguard but i would like to get into doing more tricks and stuff. I weigh about 55kg thats about 110 pounds, so what Flex should i get?

  • The bhangra is excellent for sliding.

  • can you slide with 78a wheels?

  • @llewyross Definitely. It of course depends on your technique, as someone said earlier, but also on board shape and wheel shape. A board with more concave and less flex will probably be easier to slide. And, rounded edges on your wheels will also make a difference. With sharper, square edges it is going to be harder to initiate the slide. I have some 78A Tarantulas and they slide fine. Maybe not for 30+ foot standies or anything, but the stuff in this vid, no prob.

  • is it important to have a flexible board for sliding? i've got a globe longboard which is not very flexible..

  • I can't stalefish AAHHHH !!! keep falling into a 180

  • Those wheels don't sound happy about being slid

  • This video can just show the progression of longboarding.

  • seven people have a sector 9... lol

  • @slymylizard I dont think you know, but louis pilloni rides for sector 9 now...

  • @slymylizard funny you say that...cause Louis Pilloni now rides for Sector 9 haha

  • those snowballs?

  • i've bought a tan tien today. realy good board

  • loaded abec 5 or bones swiss?

  • what hardness should you use for your wheels, when mainly speed checking in some light downhill

  • @jepzore depends how good u are. begginer sliders should be anywhere from 81-86a if your nice w it 83-91a not even sure if they make 91's hahaha

  • @cocck21 okej thanks i have abec 11 zigzag wheals 81a so i think i'll be fine :P

  • WTS sock for camera mic. Cheap!

  • i think the tan tien is far better for slides

    smaller, handier and more concave

but i do like the griptape on ur dervish :D

  • A classic video. I like how they enjoy what they do.

  • 4:08

  • nice and helpful video! thanx from Moscow! ))

  • 7 people ate urethane shavings.

  • @amzinboarder Orangatang stimulus or orangatang Durians i ride both and they great

  • are they riding flex 1 or 2????

  • @Ledecorus in all honesty, it doesnt matter for these guys.. im sure they could bust out 180's on 2x4 blocks of wood if they wanted

  • Nebraska my ass!

  • "Scaring the dogs" hahaha!

  • sin dudas que es el mejor video de slide !! gracias colton y cowboy

  • @fedelenny i agree?

  • what are those whites wheels ?

  • @mrPACarrier Those white wheels they are riding are known as "Loaded Prototype". They were later developed into the Orangatang Stimulus freeride wheels.

  • is it better to have loose or tight trucks when doing this slide?. Bearing in mind that i ride otang 83a 4presidents,

  • @baabaaU13

Loose! I found it to be much more fun also once I got used to loose trucks.

  • I have a dervish and it is not perfect for standup slides. Very narrow, no concave.

  • @dtwood1 obviously you havnt been trying hard enough derivishes are perfect. theyr dont need a concave because of the reflex of the board. try carving into your slides more and distribute your weight back a little more when you slide

  • @dtwood1 actually it is quite goood

  • @GoTheTimeKings not compared to one like a 9two5 or nemesis

  • @itsakadoozy95 im using 925, and its really good over dervish. but yea he said he have a dervish, so encouraging him by saying its quite good! rather than spending money on buying new decks :)

  • @dtwood1 i've been sliding for 2years using the same old dervish that i own 2years ago

  • @dtwood1 I totally agree. Idk how they do it.

  • @dtwood1 Well dude, its not perfect for a lot of people but for me and other riders, it works for any slide just as awesome.

  • @dtwood1 narrow means you dont have to change your footing around while doing toeside and stuff tho

  • @dtwood1 liiiieeeess. you can whip that thing around whenever you want. you just gotta commit.

  • this is the 2nd time that i see colton whitout facial hair o.O y love him whit his half facialhair =D

  • lol omaha nebraska?

  • i love seeing the stoke on these guys faces haha

  • 7:06 was SO butter haha

  • what wheels are those? the seem to slide so easily?

  • @scotty42109

those are probably some Otang prototypes, loaded went through tons of different models before they came out with the final otangs

  • how could they be in Nebraska when there is an ocean behind them?

  • My penis is bigger than my board... and its NOT a teck deck..........

....... okay.... it MIGHT be a teckdeck

  • Does any one know what Adam Colton's favorite loaded board is??

  • @TheDervishlover Im guessing its either the vanguard or the dancer, because the vanguard was his first loaded board and the dancer was made from his ideas.

  • What kind of wheels is adam using?

  • @michaeledwardburns I think theyre white loaded prototype wheels because hes riding a prototype dervish there.

  • im buying one of these today

    awsome!

  • thx nice help (:

  • @TheTrollManFool wow i am guessing you are a sector 9 fan if you are so against loaded boards?have you ever rode one??

  • @TheDervishlover I'll shove a dervish up your ass if you love it so much. Loadeds are flimsy like your fucking dick, and they sag after rigorous use like your mom's tits. Piece of shit board made in China that even their riders look uncomfortable on. You should watch James Kelly ride down on a dervish in one of the recent videos. You can tell he's thinking "fuck this wobbly ass board" and "i bet Louie's having such a rad time right now."

  • Comment removed

  • @TheTrollManFool o and how could the board be voted the best board on the market in many instances if it was a piece of shit?i don't think it is possible for everybody who longboards has bad taste, i think it is just you and your pissy attitude. if you don't like the dervish so be it, but do you really have to go about making dick ass comments?

  • @TheDervishlover beware the allmighty troll.

  • @TheDervishlover do you know what a troll is?

  • @TheTrollManFool 1st of all the board can be as flimsy as you want it to be depending on the flex, and i am a 13 year old girl so how could the board be as flimsy as my dick, asshole?Loaded boards are made in California so apparently you didn't study up before you came to talk shit. Does Adam Colton and all the other people who post videos on loaded boards look uncomfortable?Hell no!

  • @TheDervishlover Hey just saying im a sector 9 fan in fact i ride a S9 but that doesnt mean i HATE loaded with a passion i love loaded ive ridden the vanguard and loved it. In fact my next board is gonna be a loaded dervish.

  • ugh adam colton...you make LB dancing look so sexy...

he does get the elderly ladies

  • Jeez guys its a joke. This is obviously not nebraska. Last time I checked there were no palm trees or large bodies of water in that state...

  • OHH NICE i live in omaha no joke...Wheres this hill at?

  • It's pissing me off that Youtube won't let me click exactly where Louis says 'BOOOP!' around 1:36 so I can click it over and over.

  • wheels be roarin !(:

  • Colton's my longboarding god.

  • nice pendy into the camera lol

  • how loose are the trucks

  • yo i just started to slide should i tighten my trucks or leave them loose

  • @sivarion2012 leave them loose you will get alot better

  • hey man, my trucks are seismic stable turn 30's how do i set that up for sliding? they dont have bushings or anything thats what makes me wonder on how a good slide setup for it is.. please help me.

  • where in omaha is this.!!

  • Which wheels are the best for sliding?

  • @Swejunk its all personal preference, a harder wheel will break free alot easier but may come loose when you dont want it too, a square edged wheel will go grip and suddenly let go and a circular edged wheel will transfer from grip to sliding more smoothly

  • @Swejunk basicly any wheels once you wear them in ATM orangatang 86a 70mm stimulus wheels are great

  • @oftheconchords i find that the landyachtz zombie wheels(84a) slide alot more smoothly than the 86a stims.. ive used both and zombies are smoother for slides, smoother on the pavement, and still got some good grip. thats my opinion

  • love the vid. but why nebraska?

  • you guys are awesome

  • Wind sucks.

  • would be cool to use some Powell-Peralta Mini-Cubes, they are slide cool too!

  • Whats does hit board say?

  • i have a drop threw board, with randel II 150s and purple otangs, and it feels like i cant turn hard enough 2 slide. is this me? or my setup?

  • @laxmanbren1029384756

Loosen up you bushings a little. Any board can slide. Some are easier than others, but I have yet to meet a board or wheel that cannot slide.

  • @laxmanbren1029384756

its not how hard you turn. ive got a crap s9 board that i can slide a little bit. its all about how hard you push. carving can help you get into a slide but really its just about pushing the board.

  • 7:40 Awsoome!!

  • love the vids. wheels are sick. i always wonder what you guys prefer (Trucks, Deck, bearings) any intel?

  • Sweet! :D

  • you guys are my favorite

  • what wheels are those?

  • @dylanpk44 loaded protoytpe wheels

  • I have a dancer and i love sliding that thing. Gonna try these slides next week. Wish me luck lol

  • what's the best duro that you have found for sliding?

  • @allfloaton i like 84/86 A

    84 on my 3dm cambrias

    86 on my durian o-tangs

  • ha i always joke with that line when he says cross step and hit it ha

  • Fun to watch and great video!

  • are the orangtangs good for sliding (orange 4president)

  • @soyelunico10 yes but i would get the new free rides

  • haha love it they have so much fun =D

    "pivit - BAM!" nice! XD

  • I got got my dervish today XD

    Flex 2

    Paris 180 adam coltons

    Bone Swiss bearings

    and Otang Durains

    XDD I love this board

  • @MickeysEvilTwin i got paris 180 blues with 86a yellow stimuluses, and bones reds

    fabulous for slides

  • @MickeysEvilTwin purrrrrrrrrple durians?!?!

  • just realized, the dervish came out on july 5th, my birthday is july 5th. and i have a dervish. just putting that out there.

  • good job dude :D

  • nice grip.

  • Are the purple tangs In Heat good for sliding?

  • i hear they're ok, but it you want a real sliding wheel go with the freeride series (durian, fat free, etc.)

  • for some reason my backside check slides are easier for me than frontside...

  • back when i first started i had the same problem

  • hahah omaha nebraska lmao

  • What wheels are you guys using?

  • yo

wat are the hardness of the wheels you are usin in the vid ???

    cheers

  • my sliding is retarded. i used to be really good at speed checks and awful at 180s and stuff. now it's the other way round. and when i do a speed check i either slide out or just stop if i do it slow. and sometimes when i actually pull one off i cant get it straight. again... so i just go sideways. grr

  • dont throw your body into the check slides just push your legs out

  • thanks man

i practised a bit more and i can kind of do it but i can't get it straight again.. it gets traction and i start going sideways. :/

  • that doens't really look like omaha....

  • i think thats the joke holmes

  • pretty damn cool

  • so badass

  • not even that hard but there still badass

  • i want to be that good... *sigh* practice practice i guess

  • where's slide help 1?

  • Look at the first video under the loadednewsletter on the right side. It's called "slide help."

  • just called "Slide help" on the LoadedNewsletter channel

  • how hard are your wheels?

  • I think they are 83a... maybe they are the 4prez 80a

  • How is it call the 7:43 slide?

  • I think that's a coleman pendulum slide

  • why do some people just jump strait into half way through a cross step? its not a full crostep

  • cause they just want to.

  • wait wait wait wha-?

"the dervish is perfect for sliding due to the drop through adding more leverage on the wheels."

according to that statement then a top mount (which has more leverage on the wheels) would be better sliding than a drop through.

i thought drop through boards were better for sliding due to the fact that when top mounted the deck and the source of turning/leaning was below the base of the trucks thus have LESS downward leverage and more side leverage than a top mount.

  • Dude loads of people slide with the dervish, dose it realy matter?

  • doesnt mean you CANT slide it. I mean it being dropped through means its more drifty and grips less than a top mount due to leverage. therefor, through physics...the derv would be good for sliding, hence why alot of people use it for fuchin around and sliding.

it doesnt matter. Adam C. is a good skater but he cant escape the laws of physics!

  • @KGGalb

no it gives you a lower center of balance which adds the leverage. hes right. if you have a regular truck mounted you can get thrown off more. its a about the center of balance. The better it is the more your gonna be able to do.

  • this has nothing 2 do with slideing but i heard some creaks and if u take the hangger off your truck and shave a little bit of bar soap into the pivit cup it get rid of some of the creaks well atleas is dose for me

  • i don't know if you realise who you are giving advise to man. These guys know longboarding like a nun knows religion.

  • yea sorry i realized that when i looked at this later and i put it in the wrong spot but theres a somebody down a little bit asking if a 180 slide is also a 180 powerslide so i tryd to be nice and thell him its is but i guess u arnt ok with is so maby u should so get off my back im trying to help someone with what i no thats how people learn from other people "man"

  • @baconwhitmore I would have just said they are the God which the nuns are worshipping...lol it's funny when people advise the dudes on S9 and Loaded videos XD

  • random thought...

  • there both such sick riders!

  • I just got a santa cruz mahaka pin and am blown away at how awesome long boarding is. I can't wait to try some of these awesome tricks - you guys just expanded my mind! I always thought longboarded was just carving and leet speed. Now I see the light.

    You guys rock!

  • So a 180' slide is the same as a 180' powerslide?

  • yeser it is

  • 7:05 that shot is so bad ass

  • Hey i have a Neversummer swift deck its 46 inches long i also have sector 9 racing formula wheels 69 mm and 78 a wheel i still be able to do this stuff? or is my board to long?

  • Im new in the longboarding "family" but i guess it doesnt really matter how long the board is as long as you know how to put your weight and strength in the slide, but i guess you already learned it

  • Comment removed

  • You Guys Have Inspired Me to Longboard! thanx so much! :D

  • 6:41 louie eats shit

  • both of their shirts have adam c's monsters on them. i thought that was pretty cool.

  • I feel ya. I dig those shirts

  • how fast do u need to be going to do most of these slides

  • all slides that are 180 degrees or less can be done at low speeds. For the ones at the end like at 7:45 you will need to go a little faster.

  • Man i wanted to see some crashing :)

  • How do they standup slide so easy..it's like glass. T.T
