  • Part of the reason this game was so tough was the fact this was a rip from a PC game. The NES game has far less complexity and features compared to the PC version.

  • Insanely hard game, though I did manage to beat the first world, the last two really kick you to the curb. Considering this game was also on the PC, I'm not too surprised the song is so long.

  • This game whooped my ass hard as a kid growing up. Didn't matter, I'd still pop the cart in just to watch the intro screen and hear the music. Amazing song.

  • I dare a band to remake this and the "Game Over" music into an actual song.

  • This theme makes me think of a survivor from a nuclear apocolypse, trekkin through the wastelands survivng the from the mutated cannibals.. but that's jus me though

  • Glad my son "ugetab" helped rip this song. Love you bud and miss you to.

  • Wow, I've just been introduced to something amazing: this song. Fucking beautiful. *thumbs way up*

  • still gives me goosebumps....and the feeling to take over planets!

  • Looks like the poster of a Dolph Lundren movie. :)

    Great upload by the way.

  • i know exactly what you mean ArchetypeZero

  • Something about this song sends chills down my spine. Very nostalgic feeling, reminds me of when i was a kid i guess.

  • Excellent! Chiptune music is and always will be the real video game music. Thank you.

  • You know this song is from a C64 guy because what other NES games have 4 minute title screen songs? It's actually very C64-like compositionally, at least that's what those awesome arps make me think of.

  • Totally! I like how the theme takes its time, which is more of a C64 trait than an NES one. It takes a full minute for the main melody to kick in, while most standard NES themes would've been completed (if not looped twice) by then. This has a lot of space to really give a brooding tone and elegant pacing. ;)

  • @explod2A03 i own this game for NES and yes, this is the title music. thx for posting ive owned the game since i was a kid and this music has always been awesome:)

  • @explod2A03 i own it for nes, exact same audio and yes it loops.. :)

  • @illmasta

Actually, I owned this game, and believe it or not the NES version WAS this long, and DID have these title screens.

    Fantastic game.

  • @illmasta The C64 version has another music different than this, other nes games have great songs on their intros like willow or wolverine
