Thos of you who cannot differentiate "religion" from faith are quite unfortunate. beliving in Islam or any other faith does not imperatively mean that you belive in a religion. religion blinds humans from seeing the truth, while faith is a personal relationship between the person and his/her god. "religion is the opium of the people" does not desecrate any particular faith, it refers to the role of religion as a set of rules in accepting the status-quo to serve the ruling classes.

@OKREDHOT 1st yes i know what a suq is. Also bargaining and trading were both practiced in the old-Arabia, now it's all about the prices, it's rare to see people trade in the suq anymore. And about zakat, you can give more than 2.5%, people from the US don't pay more than that, they don't care about the poor, do you not understand.

Actually, communism wanted firstly to, destroy religion, then to abolish private property, then prohibite market system because the state must plan the prices (not the supply and demand which doesn't fit with our history of trading, commerce) which ultimately, as history shows, lead to poverty (look at ussr,cuba,north korea)

@OKREDHOT If you mean by the Islamic law, Sharia, guess what, it's NOT Islamicc at all. The Sharia is bassed on the concepts and ideas that a man created, but not on the ideas of the prophet. Also communism ins't against Islam, a living proof was Salvador Allende or Hamma Hammami. In Salvador Allende's Chile, people were free to be Christians, Atheist, Muslims etc. And Hamma Hammimi (leader of the CWPT) is Muslim, Communist and he isn't against Islam.

@OKREDHOT About the USSR: A poll that was voted around 2008 showed that Russians prefered life under the USSR than now a days the Russian Federation. But it's not the only country, 50% of Romanians want communism back in Romania and 50% of the East Germans have a positive view on their life in the GDR. And North Korea is another story, it was helped by the USSR, but when it fell in 1991 the DPRK got blasted by sanctions by other countries (USA, NATO, UN, ROK etc.)

All the muslim countries are converging towards this model in terms of economic system : the best example is turkey, with Erdogan and the AKP (islamic conservative and economic liberal party). Look at Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Libya there is a demand for more freedom, not for state-owned economy.
