@aloha422 sure..i think u guys will win the world cup in 2014 and u wil also have a football league like english premier league..i bet india will produce many ronaldos and messis..hahahah stick to cricket mate.footballs not your sport!!god..
@losers638 Well 2014 is too soon... its my mistake for saying "few years". Ya i get the sarcasm but since i am an optimist... i think in about 2 to 3 decades, India can be competitive in the world stage. Hopefully we do have a league as good as the EPL and we do produce players like Ronoldo and Messi. Yes some Indians shall stick to cricket, and some will start and stick to playing football! And thanks for saying "god" hopefully god will help us :)
@losers638 ya, but if you go to Kolkata, Goa and rural areas, football is a huge thing. Its the marketing and the Infrastructure of the game thats lacking in the country. There is great amount of talent that is going to waste. If you want watch my other video. it shows the decent plays that India made against top teams in Asia like Australia, South Korea and Bahrain. I strongly believe that with proper marketing, infrastructure and youth development, India can become a footballing nation
@aloha422 I think so too. I am Norwegian, but I am fascinated by football in obscure football countries (for Norwegians and Europeans in general), but I think there is a lot of potential. Just get the infrastructure right, and give Baichung Bhutia the job of football president, he seems to have his ideas right from what I've seen and heard from him.
@MrRajaBihari Those games were the first internationals for India in over a year The players are not 100% fit yet. Even after the win against Namibia on sept 15, the players are still not at their best. As fans, what we can do is to just wait and not get impatient / frustrated. There will be a serious of Internationals lined up in the coming months. It is only fair for us to judge them after the performance in the AFC cup. Remember this is the first time in 24 years they are in the asian cup.
