I'm going to scotland the first week of february, we start with the WHW and would like tot end with the Ben Nevis, also the tourist route. I'm wondering if crampons are essential to make it to the top.

Take care on the summit and keep well away from the edge, especially if the visibility is poor. Otherwise enjoy the mountain.

Which route did you take up? Ive only ever done the 'tourist' route and im pretty curious as to what that would be like in winter
