  • Plus i don't see as many Cal/Pac 10 fans tlkn about the game the year before. I didn't see tennessee go down by 35 points in this game like cal did.

  • Why are people talking about academics and whos academically better on a football video? Who all watching a football game/highlights gives a care? That's two different topics. If you have to compare your school's academic success to schools in another conference on a sports vid, then that must mean you know that your school sucks against the schools in that conference head up in the sport that's being shown in the video.

  • 2007 Cal defensive players in the NFL:

Tyson Alualu - Defensive Tackle, Jacksonville Jaguars

Cameron Jordan - Defensive End, New Orleans Saints

Zack Follett - Linebacker, Detroit Lions

Thomas Decoud - Safety, Atlanta Falcons

    Chris Conte, Safety, Chicago Bears

Syd'Quan Thompson - Defensive Back, Denver Broncos

  • 2007 Cal offensive players in the NFL: Desean Jackson - Wide Receiver, Philadelphia Eagles Lavelle Hawkins - Wide Receiver, Tennessee Titans Justin Forsett - Running Back, Seattle Seahawks Jahvid Best - Running Back, Detroit Lions Shane Vereen - Running Back, New England Patriots Cameron Morrah - Tight End, Seattle Seahawks Craig Stevens - Tight End, Tennessee Titans Alex Mack - Center, Cleveland Browns Mike Gibson - Guard, Seattle Seahawks Mike Tepper - Offensive Tackle, Indianapolis Colts
  • sack tht fuker gets destroyed xDDDDD

  • Hmmm the Pac 10 doesn't have any speed my ass! California is one of three states that has most players in the NFL come from. All Pac 10 schools get the majority of there players from Cali. SEC is way over rated!!! Go Oregon. Give Auburn a Pac 10 beat down. Didn't Oregon already give a SEC school a beat down this year? If i remember correctly the already beat Tennessee. Yeah but the SEC only remembers the wins they have and never the losses. Look up USC against Auburn and Arkansas on youtube.

  • The difference between Cal 07 and Cal Tenn 06? Cal made the beat down in 06 look so much better...it was like a Hollywood script. BOOM GOT DEM!

  • All you Cal fans who view this as some sort of Pac-10 statement game conveniently ignore the fact that Tennessee destroyed Cal the season before this game in an even more lopsided game. If anything, you barely drew even.

  • them vols better think twice about comin out west again, cuzz

  • @wrathletik hahaha i think the SEC will fold out here in the West!

  • 1:07 PWNAGE, Cal-style. Too bad they couldn't do that against USC...

Heck, Ainge's body bent painfully on that play. Ouch. Zack Follett ftw.

  • its funny how people hate on pac-10 when the usc dynasty could own up on people exept for texas haha

  • It's crazy how many of the guys in this highlight are in the league. Zack Follett LB-Lions, Justin Forsett RB-Seahawks, Lavelle Hawkins WR-Titans, DeSean Jackson- Eagles WR, Jahvid Best RB will be a 1st rounder this year. Damn this team was stacked. Roll on you Bears.

  • @Randomguy85 Stacked enough to go 7-6

  • @UFfan85 Yet they whooped on Tennessee's ass. SEC most overrated conference in sports.

Lol @ UF fans who would shit their pants to schedule a REAL OOC team. How bout you come back to me when Florida travels out of state for their OOC you dumbass hillbilly.

  • @Randomguy85 lol im pretty sure tennessee whipped cal's ass the year before and im pretty sure lsu beat washington this year so its seems the pac 10 ( more like usc) can beat the sec on anyday yeah right. anyone not on the pac 10's dick realizes the sec is much better the pac 10. hell the big 10 and 12 are better and the acc is close.

  • put cal or usc and see how many games they win. im saying 9 maybe 10. pac-10/big ten/big east/acc cant compare with the sec maybe the big 12.

  • u fool

  • oh really?seeing as ucla can beat kansas state from the big 12 and beat tennessee two years in a row...and now they are 1-5 in pac 10 play...and my usc trojans got blown out by oregon and stanford......what does this say about the pac 10 idiot?

  • @thomasnhill3 lol in usc's 04 05 days probably but now around 4 or 5, and cal thats not even funny. cals one of the most inconsistant programs in the country even if they beat tennessee ( who sucks now) they could lose to vanderbilt the next. but now netheir of this teams are as good as the top half of the sec

  • @silverblade43 lol desean jackson losing to vanderbilt. yeah fucking right.

  • @SupFag1 i said tennessee maybe you should pay a little more attention. cal saying they were great tennesse got blown out 59-20 by 9-4 florida and 41-17 to a 7-6 bama team so yeah they were VERY inconsistant

  • @silverblade43 they won the sec east

  • @SupFag1 you prove my point. tennessee was a very strange team. they could play well against a good team and win then lose to a bad team. im not sayin cal is bad but saying the pac-10 is better because they beat a inconsistant tennessee team is retarded

  • @silverblade43 they weren't inconsistant that night. they just were inferior in terms of talent. cal had jahvid best who was just drafted in the first round by the lions. desean jackson...nuff said. justin forsett who is the starting running back for the seahawks. alex mack who is the best interior lineman in the nfl. lavelle hawkins who is the titans #2 receiver. keep in mind that, at midseason, this cal team reached number 1 in the rankings. they just fell apart right after that

  • @SupFag1 lol ut was garbage in their first few games. all i know is yes cal won by 14 but florida won by 39. does that mean uf is better? not neccesarily but ut didnt play a great game. yeah you can go and name a few succesful nfl players but what does that have to do with college? also just because they had some succesful nfl players dosent mean they have more talent than ut. maybe it was home field advantage like for ut the year before.

  • @silverblade43 what? NO! if you watched the game it was evident that cal's playmakers were simply too good to be stopped! a "few" nfl pro bowlers in the skill positions is no biggie? and what does it have to do with college? is that even a question?

  • @SupFag1 im pretty sure they were'nt pro bowlers at the time. all im saying is ut was not consistant through the season and they played horrible their first 4 games. just so happens. cal was one of them

  • @silverblade43 no. it just didn't happen like that. tennessee did not have a bad game. they brought there A game. they just flat got there ass kicked by a team that simply had too many athletes

  • @SupFag1 whatever cal won, were they a bit overrated? tes but as far as ass kicking goes it 14 points insnt one

  • @silverblade43 it was an ass kicking if you watched the game.

  • @silverblade43 lol i meant yes not tes.

  • @silverblade43 Silverblade, Cal could have easily scored in the 50's if they weren't trying to run out the clock. Asskicking is definately what I would have called this.

  • haha as jackson is returning the ball, you can see the tennessee players getting laid out

  • tennesse is 1-3 against pac-10 since 2006.

    cal 1-1

    ucla 0-2

  • California love

  • SC> The whole SEC!

  • Pac 10 Football! Pac 10 Football!

  • Another perfect example of how the SEC is overrated.

  • How we beat cal when they came to Tennessee. technically you have no room to speak

  • The SEC is NOT THE BEST CONFERENCE EVERY YEAR. which is what people think of it. Florida has been the ONLY program in there that has competed for NC every year since about 2000. Georgia, Tenn., LSU are OVER RATED. They are good college programs. but they are not what everyone thinks they are as being powerhouses. They have COMBINED for just 3 national titles in the last 30 years. those are good college programs. not great. face it.

  • 5-0 in the national championship game....how about your pac 10? oh only one....the share doesnt count.

  • ur not even playing against pac-10 teams in those championships you fat turd

  • dumbass im not saying the pac 10 is better than the SEC. I'm saying this SEC is overrated because everyone automatically thinks they are the best conference every year and that isnt so.

  • we are dumb ass.

  • you have no idea what your talking about. maybe the last few years? sure maybe. The last 10? No way.

  • THEY LOST TO UCLA LAST YR LMAO!!

  • AND LSU DODGED PLAYING AGAINST USC.

  • by far my favorite cal football video on youtube.

    CALIFORNIA!!!

heres to total, complete, devistating domination!!!

    GO BEARS!!!

  • Hey haruhisuz

You say welcome to the Pac 10 but as records show Tennessee has a good showing against the Pac 10 UT beat UCLA 2 years in a row a few years back then we beat Cal who beat us here in this game then UCLA has a win So i'd say welcome to a good cross country rivalry with respect to both confrences! UT plays decent outer confrence teams as an ambassador for the SEC and so does several teams in the pac 10 and SEC, UGA and LSU has wins over the Pac 10 as well so respect Pac 10 and SEC!

  • yeah ur right, LSU does play pac-10 teams....like washington this year!

  • SEC and Pac 10 should have their own bowl game!! Gotta give respect to the Pac 10 you guys accept the SEC's challenge and plays with heart! As a Vol I love playing the speed out west! Best offenses vs the best Defenses makes for one hell of a game! Both confrences proved they were the best two last year the bowl games says it all!

  • sec sucks dick. nufff said.

  • Wins championships!

  • Who ever comes up with a bowl game that puts the SEC vs Pac 10..is gonna make lots of money

  • AMEN Brother!!

  • I bet the Pac 10 would love to trade the Big 10 teams for SEC teams in the Rose bowl.

  • Man hell yea! I wish it could happen at least 2 years! Think about this the Big 10 play in the Sugar Bowl and the SEC in the Rose bowl. The money would be off the charts to see:

    Rose Bowl

    USC vs Florida

    Sugar Bowl

    Ohio St. vs Virgina Tech

Man those match ups would be awsome! Pac 10 hasn't really been challenged in the Rose bowl lately, an SEC champ would give them an amazing game just look at the Pac 10 SEC early season games they'vew been amazing!

  • As a Bama fan living on the west coast, I wish the Pac 10 would let BYU and Utah in, so they can have a conference championship game. hell play the game in Vegas. the Pac 10 would get a lot more exposure on the east coast

  • WOW a Bamafan wayyyy out there!! I thaught I was in hostile territory being a Vol born and raised in b'ham Al and now living in South Fla man you got it bad lol! Just kidding! But that does sound like a good idea that way Utah and BYU could actually make a true run at the Title. I think all major confrences should have a title game honestly nothing should just be given in football! Goodluck to ya Tide Fan this year!

  • I hope you guys do well this year except on the 3rd of Oct,..lol, we need you guys to get better, everybody goes through hard times, I bet if the Vols beat Fla this year their would be a river of tears flowing in Knoxville..I'll love to see that

  • lol!! Anything can happen in the SEC lol! I'm actually looking foward to the 3rd saturday in Oct as always! Gotta love a good Rivalry lol!! Hey to be honest I know you guys will occupie a spot in the BCS it's just honest facts! You guys were down but look at you now, it's only logical an SEC powerhouse comes back into the mix! Good luck and watch out for Rebels they like to spoil perfect parties lol!!

  • instead of challegning cal at there house, why dont you play someone thats up to your level, like usc, and then see whos conference is better after that!

  • Firstt of all the Pack-1=USC think about how Tennessee beat Cal in knoxville just like we are gonna beat UCLA in good ol Neyland ..o ya fuck berkley yall support shit when it comes to us troops so I could give a damn about yall...good day.

  • dude.....its a football game.....nothing to do with politics.....dont try to start shit

  • I saw the UT UCLA game this year. Tennessee sucked.

  • wow...at least your not stating the obvious

  • @delrikki UCLA did a great job taking down Kiffin and the Volunteers on the road. It's one thing to win in Pasadena, it's another thing entirely when you can win in Knoxville.

  • But I notice that UTennessee isn't represented on the Periodic Table of Elements. Cal has 17 Nobel Prize Winners, UT 1. Cal kicks the crap out of any SEC team academically, but then, that goober crap will take you far in the real world.

  • yeah why don't you come over hear out west? you haven't left your state in years. so yeah i am asking why you don't? dumbass

  • Lol. The top Pac-10 teams are NOT Louisiana Lafayette-Monroe, Charleston Southern, Florida Atlantic, or The Citadel. Cal, Oregon, and USC can all hang with SEC teams, nonetheless beat them.

USC would destroy any SEC team right now.

  • Actually Vanderbilt is ahead of Cal in the college rankings.

  • @dore0214

U.S news only takes into account the undergraduate experience. look at the rest of the reputable, "world Rankings" which take all areas of a University in its evaluation.Vanderbilt is no where near the top of "world" universities. It's not ahead of Cal by a long shot.

    ARWU World 2nd

    ARWU National 2nd

    WM National University 2nd

    Times Higher Education 8th

    US news 22nd

Type University of California on Wikipedia and see for yourself

  • @delrikki i wouldnt say that cal kicks the crap out of vanderbilt academically...quite the opposite actually

  • @JasonSideburn you'd be wrong.

  • @Smokeeater316 except...i wouldnt. vanderbilt is consistently a top 20 school in the nation

  • If you know anything about sports, you'll know that team dynamics change over the course of the year. Obviously the Tennessee team that played Cal was awful at the beginning (they lost 59-20 to Fla two weeks later) then got better.

Cal started off great, almost went to #1 till that backup freshman QB coughed it up vs Oregon St and got worse.

  • You forget Tennessee losing (after that 59-20 UF loss) at Bama 41-17, when the Tide were UNRANKED? Or is it UT needing a missed 52 yard FG by the Vandy kicker to beat Vandy at home at the end of the year? Please...UT didnt get better...they got LUCKY.

  • And the team in this video won enough conference games to play in the SEC title that year.

  • Since 1999, the Pac-10 is 11-7 head to head vs the SEC abd these are the teams that have played in these Pac-10-SEC regular season games:

SEC - LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, Miss State, Auburn

Pac-10 - UCLA, USC, Oregon, Cal, Washington State, Arizona, ASU.

The Pac-10 is 4-2 since 2005 head to head.

  • Tennessee just lost to wyoming. That sec sure is tough. And to the idiot below me tennessee had a 10 win team in 2007 so that means they were good when cal beat them dumass.

  • Beating Tennessee is no big deal. Notre Dame swept them in 04 and 05, Penn State beat them in 06, Cal beat them in 07, and UCLA in 08. They haven't won an SEC title in ten years. Tenn has fallen to the ranks of Arkansas and South Carolina in the SEC. It's pathetic that a team with so much talent has to be coached by philip fulmer, who has clearly lost his touch and needs to be fired b/c apparently Tenn losing somehow downgrades UF. UF beat them 59-20 last year btw.

  • The year USC played Arkansas and beat them 50-14 (2006), the Hogs went 10-4 & 7-1 in the SEC, and played UF (lost 38-28) in the SEC title game.

The year Cal played UT at home (2007) and beat them, UT went 10-3 & 6-2 in the SEC and lost in the SEc title game by an Erick Ainge int in a 21-14 game. So these teams suck, huh?

Sur ethey do. For some reason they showed up in the recent past in yor conferences title game and were close to winning.

  • UT beat GA 35-18. Yes, the UGA team that finished #3 in the BCS.

  • BCS Championships.

    SEC-4

    Tennessee-1

    LSU-2

    Florida-1

    Pac-10-1

    USC-1

    That's all that matters

  • Can't argue with your quality of football in the SEC. I'll concede that point.

  • Ok...I'm Tennessee through and through, but dang. I hereby take back what I said. After losing to UCLA, I will say nothing else. It's going to be a loooooong year.

  • Cal was faster AND more physical in this game. I remember in the later stages of the game the Tennessee players were just getting slugged.

  • Yea! Cal rocks! They went to....the Armed Forces Bowl? And played who? Air Force? AND THEY ALMOST LOST?!? It must suck to not play on New Year's day and beat one of the best teams in the Big Ten. I'd love to see Cal take on a Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn, or LSU this year.

  • Tennessee just lost to UCLA last night...

  • Will you concede ths point? Cal would beat the living brakes off of an Auburn. Do you realize that Auburn did not cross the 50 in the entire 2nd half vs Tennessee? And still won? Inept offense. Totally putrid. LS-WHO? Loosk like Nutt has their number. I would concede that.....

  • luck

  • How about that west coast speed dude! We got it all out here homey, fast players, progressive attitudes, and just being from California sounds cooler than the south. Face!

  • I was at this game. Cool half time show and chants.

    For Pac10 fans

    Pac10-Sports. com

  • sec getting SMOKED!!! Where was the speed their dumb fans are always talk'n smack about? Hats off to Cal for making TN looks like fools!

  • Dude, don't be that guy that starts saying crap like that. Pac 10 fans have nothing but respect for the SEC and we just hope the NCAA gets off its ass and allows more matchups and maybe even a East coast West coast bowl game. As a USC man I would love nothing more than to get another shot at the SEC. I do respect Tennesse for being one of the few SEC teams that does schedule big time OC games EVERY year, unlike Florida or Georgia. So big ups to the Vols on that.

  • Indeed. The Vols are trying to schedule a pac-10 team each year, as we have UCLA this year. It's a shame that they lost their 1st string QB and I believe their 2nd string to injury, or else, it'd probably be another great game. Can't wait til we play Cal again, I want the tie to be broken.

  • Thank you for validating that there are SEC fans out there that care about more than just their own conference and see the big picture of NCAA football. Good to know that there are SEC fans like you out there. Most of the time you just read typical dumbasses like volunbeers make stupid comments because they don't know anything other than there own team and who wants to talk those types? Love to see USC vs Tenn sometime too.

  • hay guyz immma gonna call the other team fags cuz i cant think of a better comeback lolz

  • Haha! I was thinking the same thing. Weak.

  • Hey, I'd be upset too if my team ended up as runners-up in my conference and lost to the 8th place team from another conference by two touchdowns. I understand your anger volunbeers!

  • way to go Tennessee, u did the SEC proud on losing by 2 TDs to a mediocre Cal team. GREAT JOB!

  • best cal game i ever attended!

  • tennessee can be argued to be the 5th best sec team though

  • Hey, juiceFW, cal had freshman syd'quan thompson go against tenn's #1 reciever in 2006 in his own baptism by fire. And, that game was Longshore's first start basically, in Tenn's stadium as well, unless you want to count 11 snaps against Sac St a "start". And in 2007, the Tenn team that Cal beat went on to be the SEC East Champs.

  • Nice job Kal beating those Southern Cal.......

  • and if Cal sucks so bad why did they beat a healthy Oregon team at home???

  • UT was playing all freshman corner backs and wide recievers. The cal game was their first coliegent experience. Thats what you call being baptised by fire and they were still very competitive in that game. It was by no means domination. People forget that in 06 an experienced Tennessee team had cal beat 30 to zip in the 3rd quarter before they put in reserves. Now thats domination. And that year Cal went on to become co-champs of the pack 10

  • Talking to Zack before the game he was pissed that Media Relations made him say the SEC was bigger and faster... He showed in on the first drive. SEC aint some super powerhouse. Most teams dont even leave the south to play any games until December.

Jackson showed you what's up, Follet Showed you whats up. Back up RB's showed you whats up. Your own player got caught taking a cheep shot and ended up almost breaking a teammates neck...

Keep your teams in the south where they belong.

  • whatever happended to that tennesse guy who tryed to tackle forsett but hit his teammate and had to be carried of the field on a strecher in like the fourth quarter ?

  • also if that guy on cal wouldnt have dropped that td pass or was it overthrown...cant remember but any way the man was wide open, cal would have put 52 on the board, but a fun game to watch

  • I respect Tennessee because the SEC don't schedule back to back games on their schedule against the PAC 10. its either our house or nothing. So big up to Tennessee.

  • yeah tennessee actually showed some courage goin against a good non conference team

  • What makes this a great game is that my daughter was born during the 3rd quarter while Jackson was scoring a touchdown

  • tennesse-6 national titles, pac ten(excluding usc)-1. yeah......real football is played in the sec

  • actually ucla won 1,cal won 1,and washington st won 1(think),but look at this...the sec is the oldest conference, the pac-10 also didnt start out with ten teams

  • all you jokers who think Cal is a perennial contender, get out of here. Cal is garbage. DeSean Jackson is a 'maybe' player who won't do anything in the league and Nate Longshore is scared. Watch ESPN on Sept 1 of the 2008 Season (Monday Night Football) when Tennessee goes out to UCLA and beats it up. Cal, wake up and do something.

  • See this is why I don't like the SEC. Almost all they do is trash talk everyone, and then they go out and get raped. Good video.

  • Good win by Cal, that was a strong fought game and no ass whipping. Especially like the one from the year before. Way to make both teams look bad though by falling on your faces for the rest of the season.

  • lol ya we kinda collapsed, ppl were injured, seemed like the players lost focus. We'll be back!

  • there was no question in my mind that cal was going to win this game.

  • u retard Cal should've gone to the Rose Bowl in 2004 but the BS screwed us over

  • Of course no Cal vs Tennessee highlight would be complete without that DeSean Jackson punt return!

  • as u can see the score was 21-21 at one point, tennesee a sub par SEC team t that time, lost b/c of mistakes and did win last years matchup.

  • Welcome to Pac 10 Football. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

  • Cal killed Tennessee. But they had to win their last 7 games

  • u know im not going to say that sec sucks or the pac 10 is the greatest, but hell if the #12 team loses to a team that finished in the middle of the pac10 it says something. The pac10 finished 4-2 in bowl games and the sec is a lot bigger. Again im not sayin the pac10 is the greatest conference in the NCAA. By the way i can agree that ASU SUCKS!

  • Cal was awesome when they played this game. They were so good they beat Oregon at home just a couple of weeks later. Tennessee was so bad when the played this game. They got blown out by what turned out to be a very mediocre UF team two weeks after this game.

  • Oregon sucks without 1 player?

You clearly have no idea what the hell your talking about. We had EIGHT players injured. 2 Starting LB's. 2 Starting WR's. The backup RB who we used in a dual role with stewart and FOUR QB's. We finished out the season with a 5th string, true freshman QB and still won our bowl.

Let's see UT play a Pac 10 team like that. Hell, Cal blew them out EASILY even with the Vol STARTERS playing.

Cal, Oregon and the rest of the Pac 10 are legit.

  • howd that heisman winner do in his bowl game?

  • Y did they keep playing longshore after he was injured? Why, cuz Reily made one mistake. When cal fans look back on this year they will see a missed opportunity. O well, theyll hav to settle for a win in da Armed Forces Bowl.

  • cal beat tennesse who beat kentuckty who beat lsu so pretty much cal is the best

  • Tennessee lost to that skeleton team LSU had at the end of the year. I hope LSU's starters can heal or overrated state may actually keep it close.

  • after watching this game, I honestly thought this was THE year for CAL.

    haha

this and the texas a&m game at the holiday bowl was the best I've seen outta CAL.

  • Oh god. Are you going to say that Cal didn't own Tennessee? What do turnovers and special teams not count? Keep cryin' Vols fans, you guys got worked. Learn how to run before you step in the west again. PEACE!

  • wow TN split a 1 n 1 with a bcs OutofConference game,,,,,TN will pound UCLA at the rose bowl,,,then going to Auzten to take on the ducks,,,,NOT SCARED

  • You'll find some way to lose, you always do...

  • lets face it the SEC is the best conference. no other confrence compares to it. its got the athletes.

  • The PAC-10 is a great conference as well, PAC-10 also has some great athletes !!

  • And now Cal is nowhere to be found in the polls, while Tennessee is playing in the championship for the best conference in the nation. GO VOLS!!!

  • This video just shows how the SEC cannot handle the PAC-10 in some games !!

  • If Tennessee had played Cal a month later, they would've won. UT had not found their groove yet, their special teams was down. You take away those big returns, the game's tied. Minus those, UT matched every play Cal had.

  • Stop hatin , Cal owned deal with it 45-31 nuff said !!

  • I'm not hatin. They did, I'm not denying that. I'm simply saying that they were down, you can't argue that. But, I have all the respect in the world for how Cal played in that game.

  • Tennessee still sucks. You can't play on the road, you recently beat Vandy by one point at home, and UK's field goal kicker just handed you a win. It's an absolute joke you didn't have to play LSU or Auburn, you might as well have just been handed the SEC east title to begin with. I wonder how you are going to disgrace the SEC in your bowl game this year. SEC fans are just hoping you don't beat a banged up LSU team and go to the Sugar bowl.

  • Every team at the begining of the season is still trying to find there GROOVE !! Idiot.

  • Yeah, "every" team. Cal had their groove and lost it, while Florida lost theirs. Two teams that were supposed to be NC contenders. Tennessee earned every bit of what what they got. They had more heart and determination than any other team in the SEC. Yes, they had some help, but they capitalized on every opportunity. And the UK kicker didn't hand it to them. They flat out blocked that kick.

  • Injuries have plagued the pac-10 this season, Espicially My oregon ducks !! 11 great starters go down !!

  • UF was never expected to be a national title contender this year, they are 75% underclassmen. UF has dominated their last four games, they are a top five team right now for sure. Tennessee earned nothing, one good home win doesn't mean anything when Alabama hangs up 41 on you on the road. I can't wait to watch Tennessee fans pretending to be shocked when Hawaii is beating them by 4 scores at halftime.

  • At least they'll be in a BCS bowl if they're playing Hawaii. That's more than UF can say.

  • 59-20...enough said

  • 6-2 and an SEC East crown. Enough said.

  • 1 point home win over vandy, beat south carolina at home in ot b/c of a false start on a field goal in overtime, only SEC east champ ever to allow more than 40 points 4 times in a season, allowed an average of 43.2 points on the road, one of the least difficult SEC schedules ever, spanked by a .5 pac10 team, and now that Miles and Pelini are leaving probably the first SEC champ to ever get drilled by a wac team. you rule.

  • Only defense to hold one of the best offenses in the conference to 13 pts (15 if you include the the 2-pt conversion).

  • those fucken SEC fuckers or whatever cant handle the speed and skill of the pac-10 represent !!

  • If USC is the third best team in any league. You know the Pac-10 is tough. If USC or LSU were in in the Big-10 they would be undefeated too. Penn. State is overrated, and Autzen Stadium sounded louder than Happy Valley on Saturday.

  • The fact is the SEC and Pac-10 are both tough this year. The Big-10 is utter garbage. Ohio State would not be undefeated in either conference. Oregon would give them a tough game. Washington led Ohio State 7-3 at the halfd, and it would have been 14-3 if wasn't for terrible call by the refs to call Washington's fumble back..Washington is the worst team in the Pac-10. Oregon hammered Michigan. Enough said..

  • Hopefully Oregon or LSU will play Overrated State in the national championship. If LSU won that would mean Overrated state would be 0-9 against SEC teams in bowl games. If Oregon won that would mean Oregon had pounded the two big ten powerhouses in the same year. LSU and Oregon both have a lot of injuries though that might actually keep OSU in the game.

  • Arizona State is a good team this year as well and better than Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Vandy, South Carolina,Miss. State, etc..

  • Arizona state is good, but I would put them at about the level of Auburn or Georgia. It's hard to tell how good they are b/c they haven't played USC or Oregon yet. I can't really figure out what has happened to Cal so I don't really want to say ASU is great just yet. I believe Georgia actually plays at ASU next year so i guess we'll see then. Lots of SEC teams are going to Pac10 country in 2008. I wish the Gators would do a Pac10 game, but we fill most of our ooc spots with FSU and Miami.

  • Well Tenn just let a questionable Alabama team drop 41 on them, while UCLA who has lost 44-6 to Utah and 20-6 to notre dame is running away with the pac10. whatever though, at least the pac10 has good teams that actually beat each other and nobody gets a free ride to an undefeated season like in the big 10. Ohio state would get destroyed by Cal, Oregon, UF, LSU, or Auburn. It's pretty clear the Pac10 is the SEC's best competition, they really need a solid SEC vs Pac10 bowl game every year.

  • There is alot of talk about the pac-10 being stronger than the SEC because of this win over Tennessee being a trademark win for the cal bears. You kicked our ass pretty good i will admit, but in the SEC this is just an average win not a Trademark win. That is the difference in the SEC. Cal beats us pretty bad and it is a trademark, Florida beats us worse and it is just an average day, that is what makes the SEC better.

  • is tennessee the only team in the SEC that has the balls to play a good non conference team...PAC-10 FOOTBALL! i think vols fans remember that chant by some fans lol the pac-10 isnt as weak as ppl think oregon isnt goin all the way without a lose, usc will not :(,cal will not,nor will asu,the pac-10 was never sorry the media hates anythin on the westcoast, but yet suck up to the big-10 still lol

  • I'm a huge Cal fan, but saying that the pac10 is better than the SEC just isn't correct. And no, Tennesse is not the 6th best team in the SEC. You've got Lsu, UF, and then who do you take to be the next? Id say there are about 3 teams who can bid for the 3rd spot and Tennesse is one of them.

  • Right now Tennessee is tied for last in the SEC but they have only played one game which they lost by 39 points. You can't deny the Vols have a chance at being the worst team in the SEC, they were in 2005...
