  • That is Amazing! The drums..... fuuuuuuuuck. The break too......... just too fucking good.

  • best drums

  • this is so fucking cool

from what i've seen on the comments its has been sampled by jadakiss

well fuck that this version is better

we dont need mpc idiots using obvious samples on their pathetic songs

  • @NagChampa72 said and I quote; "Actually, if it weren't for Ghostface and others, there would not be a new generation of kids showing interest in classic music such as this." Your wrong....Ghostface didn't save anything! and that's all I have been saying There really is no need to resort to name calling. I thought we were having a civilized conversation about how most people around the world listen to classic music such as this and never listened to hip hop.

  • @NagChampa72 You clearly were saying hip hop save this music for a "Whole " generation. That statement is just not true. The planet has left hip hop behind, third world countries are becoming your only market. I suggest you start sampling south American, or maybe traditional Mayan cause American hip hop is extinct. Europe doesn't give a shit and neither does main stream America. Hip hop and its culture is over. just look at the media algorithms. your a dinosaur. this isn't 1990.

  • @agonaces Stop and re read what I wrote. Then stop adding your own version of what you think I intended to say. My point is clearly legible and easy to understand. Maybe you should work on your comprehension skills instead of showing everyone what a whining crybaby you become when you are wrong.

  • @NagChampa72 I quoted you word for word. I am not adding anything. I understood what you said, and I just disagree, so why devalue your opinion by resorting to school yard name calling, instead of trying to debate your point. (which I feel is false) I am not name calling, you guys just have no idea how to have a real discussion....you always take the low road and try to insult due to not having a counter argumentative point. You just start playing the victim and resort to insults.

  • @agonaces Quoted me word for word? Where did I say ' hip hop save this music for a "Whole " generation'?

There is nothing to debate here. Grow up.

  • @306ness I understand that a small percent of American hiphop enthusiasts might be turned on to various genres of music through sampling and splicing. That is not why I was appalled, if hip hop never existed there would still be interest in all music and all genres. Hip hop didn't save classic music for this generation or any other. Hip hop just turned other hiphop listeners onto this. I am outta touch?, American hiphop has always given its self way to much credit. You are outta touch globally.

  • @agonaces Thats not true at all. Genres come and go in terms of mass appeal and if it wasn't hip hop it would be another genre that came around.

  • @NateZen I don't understand. whats not true? Genres do come and go in terms of mass appeal agreed.......I just don't understand how that reflects on my statement. You guys seem to think that Hip hop has saved something for the world. again "Hip hop didn't save classic music for this generation or any other. Hip hop just turned other hip hop listeners onto some classic music." you guys act as if hip hop is listened to by everyone, I am here to tell you it is not.

  • @agonaces You said if hip hop never existed there would still be intrest in all music and all genres. If hip hop wasnt the populus brainwasher you say it is, than some other genre would be just as popular as Hip Hop thereby taking away popularity from other forms of music.

  • @NateZen I never said such a thing. My point is simply. Hip hop did not keep any music from being forgotten. Thats all I have been saying. Show me where I said "populus brainwasher " I dont think hip hop is near as popular as you guys think it is.

  • not to mention countless mcs and djs who constantly give props and educate kids on the music of the past...

  • i simply cant understand why sampling in hip hop is outcasted? golden era beats still rule...

  • @giorgoklown i can't understand why anyone would say it's outcasted. hip-hop has been and always will be here it's just never been been popular. don't get it confused with pop music featuring rappers.

  • 0:38

  • @NateZen run

  • who was the one idiot who disliked this

  • 0:23 to 0:40 is pure fucking gold.

  • FUCK YEAH! I Finally found this rare motherfucker.

  • HAS TO BE ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • woooow a whole day of digging was worth it, I just found a new break.

  • "run" @ :38?

  • krs one - all skool

  • FUCKIN BADASS DRUM BREAK DO YOU HAVE ANY MORE DRUM BREAKS OR mixtapes

  • This was made to be in a Tanrantino movie. I love Les Baxter.

  • @anonbeliever1 I meant an Tarantino movie btw.

  • I never expected a les baxter video to have guys arguing about wu tang

  • this is the sample to mf dooms doomsday (x-ray-remix)

  • Is there any song mf doom haven't sampled? Can't he come up with anything of his own? Leach.

  • @soulsuckeddry

yeah your probably right. he's one of the finest producers.

    It says Xray remix though.

  • @soulsuckeddry Doom's original. Don't hate.

  • this too good,.,,,I wish it were longer

  • hey could i please get an mp3 of this as 192 kbps or higher, dont get good enough quality for playing out with a youtube ripper, would me much appreciated if you could hook it up. love this tune

  • yeah hammer track

  • nothing wrong with old school sampling cutting and looping if you make hip hop reminiscent of when it was still good. how can anyone have a problem with that? music isn't about how hard it is to make or how many instruments you played, it's much more about a legacy and a feeling, and a good ear. people over think it now, and shit has turned wack because of that in my opinion. production in hip hop became TOO good, advanced and polished

  • your right my friend, you have a few artists keeping that original sound, but the radio music is definatly all one way now

  • @ultramag88 how is it "TOO" good? and why would that be bad?

  • @Regset listen to most modern rap to hear first hand how overproduced it is. all the rough edges smoothed off it lost its soul years ago, except for an underground few

  • @ultramag88 true words! best example: madlib

  • @ultramag88 Perfect example - Wu Tang, 36 Chambers. It's raw, dirty, and riddled with mistakes, but it's one of the best Hip Hop albums ever, IMO.

  • Break was used by Porn Theater Ushers for Ballon Knots I think...

  • @ultramag88 amen to that bro (coming from a musician ;)

  • fantastic !

nice drum beat and a nice bass line !

    peace nice one

  • Wirklich cooler Song

  • goddamn!! this is great! GET OUT THOSE MPC's!!!

  • @matzomaniac aha only if i had 1

  • @matzomaniac Ha lol this is a must have on wax! Peep my channel peace.

  • ♥

  • and sorry i am so stupid i have no knowledge of ur very important games that u play oh dear how will i ever "win in life".... im not tryna win lol...im goin now i've had enough of this virtual argument tho it was fun.

  • ha i jus realised how stupid it is tryna defend Wu to some die hard devin fan who swears their wack. you'll never know man you'll never know.

  • one of the hardest breaks out there, also check out Fido by the Byrds - it's similar but you have to pan it

  • wow this is great. i need to explore more... only have 3 albums

  • rza and mf doom arent garbage

  • Rza is trash??!? so whats your idea of talent then. rza is the greatest performer ever to make a million dollars mothaafuckaa

  • i guess?

  • Comment removed

  • While I can agree with you, that, not every producer who samples has talent, I must STRONGLY disagree that sampling is "old, outdated, and doesn't show creativity" and that Hip Hop is dead shit.

Put the Source/XXL mag down, shut off the fucking radio and take the time to due some research before you sound off like a half ass know-it-all.

Heard of Madlib or Edan? Fuck, the guys you mention sample!!!

Opinion and all, but I can't help but hope you choke on the fattest of cocks.

  • Sampling IS old and outdated, turn your radio on, or buy a mixtape from a relevant rapper: NO ONES DOING IT ANYMORE. And I said Hip-Hop is dead IN NEW YORK, learn how to read.

And I don't need to do research. I was born in the inner city and grew up on it my whole life unlike you. You probably never been to a block party in your life, what the fuck do you know.

  • BTW: I'm 32, steeped in music before and after hip hop, had friends from all sides of the tracks and been to more block parties in more cities "unlike you".

I already walked in your young man shoes. Keep 'em. Hope you have some good times in 'em.

The world is bigger than your block so it helps to do some research.

Just saying, I may not know everything but I know enough to end this lame discussion. If you'll excuse me, I've got some "old and outdated" music I want to get back to. Peace.

  • Continued....

Madlib and Edan are old as hell, who hasn't heard of that backpack shit. Def Jux, all the wack shit no one listens to.

Yes the artist I mentioned HAVE sampled, but majority of the music they make is from scratch, try reading the credits instead of shooting off at the mouth. Oh and read more carefully this time ass

  • Whatever. (Though OK , you got me, Edan and Madlib aren't the newest cats out...LOL)

As a musician (who also samples) I found your comment....infuriating and totally off base. Since I practice what you refer to as old and oudated, I, predictably AND stupidly took offense.

    But maybe you're right.

    Who knows/cares?

You have the right to your opinion. I was wrong for telling you that your opinion wasn't valid.

    My bad.

That said, this song is fucking dope.

    Can we agree on that?

  • I mean thats fair, I use samples as well. But it IS untalented to base ALL your work around sampling, where people see you as a sampling artist. I make beats and we all know it's fun to sample, but if your just looping shit and adding drum hits, then your on your grandmaster flash/Ced Gee old school shit you feel me lol? I'm responding to all my replies because I know what I'm talking about, I could care less what Rza'a fans think.

  • .....its obvious to me now you haven't studied enough of Wu to be hear slating them...devin is funky turd mate. if u think their raps were from a science book your a fuckin moron...most of what they say regarding dropping jewels and science is thing they have learned from educated brothers on the street. of course they also read a lot of useful stuff and their better for it. fuck u man saying rza is trash ...go and listen to his better material properly...wu up to 97, gravediggaz , all features

  • See how you have to go back in time to bring up a decent Rza production? YOU just proved my point. The WU TANG ADMITTED Rza is washed up. Devin's LAST ALBUM "landing gear" had like 1 sample on the entire album, and was a banger front to back. And as a bonus not only was his lyrics ill, his lyrics made sense. Fuck rza, def jux, mf doom, and whoever else is in your backpack. You will NEVER hear anyones car bumping the bullshit you call "real hip-hop"/old new york style hip hop

  • it dont matter if u have to "go back in time" time is what u make it...n fuck u with all this sample bollocks , if the beats good its good no matter how it was made , its totally irrelevent when the mc is trash(devin) anyway. stop with the bandwagon i dont care if people arent bumping the shit in their cars ufool..who cares about the latest trend(u obviously) wu is all about their classic material and their dynasty cemented in history..n dont mater if it newyork or japan itsabout the music!

  • You can't have an opinion on time. It doesn't wait for you, and when it passes it's gone forever (like the Wu-Tang-Clan). So get the fuck out of here with that "time is what you make it" hog wash. Only dirty construction workers and bumbs will be seen wearing "Wu-wear" in the states dude. And stop abusing the term bangwagon, because Devin isn't even mainstream stupid. You don't even know anything about his career you prove it every time you mention him.

  • no mate im not saying devin has anything to do with bandwagons u do,,cos u keep proving u follow trends like ooo only see this stereotype wearing wu wear in the states..who cares they are probably the sound ones...yeh u dick but ur perception of time is wack once its goneits gone well yes but things that were created in the past remain forever so shoosh with ur delusions of time.

  • Dude your grammar is the worst, what the fuck is this guy talking about???

  • sorry i dont do my utmost to type in flawless grammar when you tubing....im dumb for dissing alex jones??????????!!!!!! elaborate...... you support alex jones movement? though u have heard the kind of bullshit he spreads to get the people riled up??? WILLIAM COOPER ONCE SAID HE WHO STRIKES FIRST LOSES.AND THATS KEY IN ALEX JONES AGENDA, HE AND THE ELITE WANT U TO STRIKE 1ST SO THEY CAN DETAIN U ALL!

  • You're embarrassing yourself, please continue.

  • @ep784 Listen to Black Mozart by Raekwon.....RZA still the King.

  • I can see your argument. And, true, as an artist it limits you if you're a one trick pony. If you're lazy you tend to make lazy music and listeners know the difference. I know what you mean...

I just can't figure out how it turned into Devin vs Rza. If you're like me you dig both, maybe one more than the other, but shit's cool since it ain't that bullshit on the radio, right?

I wish you good luck as a fellow beatmaker/musician, but I wouldn't discourage any potential fan. Never know...

  • Rza>devin haha//

  • It got into Devin because the bloke kept mentioning him lol. But like you said people like the Rza and other NY producers recycle the same formula (Kick, Hat, Snare, Sample). I used Devin as an example of an artist who doesn't use samples and this dick abused it. I've thought about those guy being potential fans, but they should have just ignored my reply to this video

  • LOL

    Agreed!

This is still a nice song but now I'm gonna associate it with an odd sense of anger and amusement.

    "I'm Paul that's between y'all..."

  • I guess it was a hot topic lol.

  • you'd rather listen devin the dude than Wu-Tang......you know fuck all about hip hop saying its dead your just a bandwagoner for saying that just cos everyone else says it. hip hop is only dead to lazy half wits who can't be bothered to look deeper in...hip hop is thriving if you know where to look. wu tang 4ever

  • Hell yeah I'd rather listen to Devin, so would ever other real Hip-Hop fan. People like me who grew up listening to Wu-Tang before suburban kids like you discovered them, knows that Wu was over with after "Wu-Tang-Forever". I been had gza, ghost, ODB first albums, been had killa army, shaheim and all those guys. Bottom line is your just a loyal Wu-Tang fan like the rest of these geeks, only relevant Wu artist out now are Raekwon and Ghost, the rest suck.

  • i know full well Wu-tang isnt what it used to be and they sold out with the W and iron flag and thereafter..but c'mon seriously is devin the dude still keeping it real, was he in the first? compared to Wu, NO. i go off the best material when forming my opinions on who is best because its inevitable 99.9999% will dumb it down to boost sales. however wu still keep it lyrical to a degree in the mainstream, and lyricism 4 me is the most important factor along with delivery therefore Wu kills devin

  • Helmhashis can you sit here and tell me you actually comprehend most of the shit the Wu talks about? Their from a generation of rappers that just said shit to rhyme, opening up thesauruses and science books to find big words lol. Come on, what do you know about lyrics man? Just because Devin isn't from the stanking apple doesn't make him any less Hip-Hop. Devins music is funky as hell, and kills it lyricaly your wack ass hell for not knowing that.

  • your a fool man, yeah some wu stuff is unorthadox...but your on some wack shit if you don't get it...whats not to understand about their lyrics..a lot of it makes perfect sense, u know about the nation of gods and earths right? pretty much every lyric has relevance in it,

  • Unorthadox huh? That's what you call it? just because some wu member mentions nation of gods, or if Canibus raps about the moon doesn't mean he's a fucking science teacher lol. Just because you watch a documentary on the new world order and rap about it doesn't make you alex jones. Get it? If I was to pull out a Wu album right now (which I wont because I'm not stuck in time) I could find a ridiculous verse that doesn't make any kind of sense.

  • u just seem threatened by anything u dont comprehend, just cos u dont understand the lyric doesnt mean its irrelevant and doesn't make sense, ur just one person. i think u'll find millions who do understand the likes of wu and canibus, not just because they say big words about certain subjects but they also shed light on subjects and can teach us things, what can devin teach us?? how to disrespect women and whatnot!? your a dik 4 even bringin up alex jones he is a fearmonger not a crusader!

  • and what has the Washed-Up-Clan taught you? Just because you hear a rapper say the word "knowledge" in a verse, you think it's fundamental to listen to LOL. Devin teaches us how to be creative by CREATING melodies and basslines instead of stealing other peoples music off youtube. And you mean to tell me Wu-tang don't call women bitches and hoes??? Guy you're making yourself look stupid every reply. Not mention the fact you were dumb enough to diss Alex Jones

  • see there u go again with the big word shit..its not about hearing them say the word its about the verse u tool. well since listening to wu i have a much better perspective on things than the days of listening to em,dre n snoop(all wack) it made me go on to learn alot more about the 5% nation andthe teachings and story of clarence 13x.... amonst many other things , wu is a way and i dont really know any wu fans who are dikheads....devin teaches u how to make noise GREAT:) byeeee

  • p.s. i grew up on wu-tang too, the masses of solo albums that are untouchable also show you cannot compare the likes of devin the dude...the killa beez worldwide is just the most prolific group in music ever...AND TRUST MAN REAL HIP HOP FANS RATHER BUMP WU-CLASSICS THAN DEVIN ANYDAY;) U PROBABLY THINK SNOOP IS RELEVANT. WU PAVED THE WAY 4 KNOWLEGABLE RAW AS FUCK RAPPING , WHETHER U A HOODLUM A BACKPACKER OR A "SUBURBAN GEEK" THAT IS THE TRUTH.

  • The only truth I see written here is that your a suburban geek, because you refer to inner city people as hoodlums. "My digital vortex blah blah blah, killa bee on the swarm" Get the fuck out here lol, their lyrics never make sense.

P.S. The W was WACK. That was like 99 or 2000 right? I remember everyone saying that shit was weak. I only knew one person who owned that CD.

  • your a real prick haha...yeah not all inner city people are hoodlums dont put words in my type mofo...hoodlums are a percentage of ghetto dwellers they also appear in the suburbs under the alias of a chav n whatnot. yeh the W was a commercial flop in many opinions, u dont seem 2 know much bout it tho, maybe u shud go listen and realise it is the best commercial music ever, they blend raw lyrics wit commercial beats...its rather great actually.real heads recognise the wu is the way bitch

  • Ghostface - The best out the group as of today

    Raekwon - still nice lyricaly

Gza - Fell off years ago

Rza - Even the Wu will tell you Rza's shit is wack

    ODB - R.I.P

Meth - Damn, that man fell OFF

Ugod - No one ever cared about U-God

Masta Killa - Who's that? LMAO

  • ha u pompus windbag..why couldn't u disrespect odb ? jus cos he's dead , your such a faggot ass bandwagoner its unbelievable...mate masta killa has many a legendary verse,if he'd come out wit a album in the 90's itt woulda been amazing he's a true teacher and artist ...and hate to say this but ghost and rae are the least sense making out of the lot so u kinda gone back on your thesis there my friend

  • You're the least sense making out of all my replies. Go have some tea and biscuits bloke

  • oh u wanna get stereotypical,go eat some macdonalds u fat fuck and suck ur presidents dick until u realise(far too late) that he is another farce , go and listen to alex jones cos he is soooo "patriotic" go and throw a FOOTball !??!!!?! ha

  • #1 you have a McDonald's too, so does the rest of the world.

#2 Obama will have order over the UN, so he's your president too

#3 Alex is obviously a patriot, you both agree Obama is a farce.

#4 Who's ever heard of someone throwing a field goal in "Foot"ball??? Hmmm....

Nice try, but you're just too stupid to ever win in life.

  • yes like i eat tea and biscuits...macdonalds is ur doing tho haha...alex jones isnt a patriot he is a jesuit zionist working 4 the elite to try and bring about mayhem sooner, thats why he puts out announcements about some crazy shit like russia is pointing a nuke at you or some shit, so u will all be patriotic and go crazy. alex jones is not a patriot u fool...obama doesnt have power over anything u moron so no he is not my president i dont have 1 whoever owns me will have 2 kill me 1 day.

  • Hell Ride?

  • yeh man i watched this movie for the first time last weekend er so and man this break beat was crazy to me...pretty cool movie and great soundtrack

  • great drumbreak for bboys! =)

  • If you watch the movie, there's a fight scene that starts off with a really cool drum break, but sadly the version of the song on the record isn't the same. That sometimes pisses me off, when you see an old movie like this or the blaxploitation stuff, and the film has awesome tracks or versions that aren't on the released record! :(

I like all of the music on this soundtrack. They all had the same musical 'theme' running through, which is typical of many OSTs of that time.

  • i seen this movie before on somethign weird.

  • Actually, if it weren't for Ghostface and others, there would not be a new generation of kids showing interest in classic music such as this.

  • I've got to agree

  • pete was my inspiration to dig deep in old music like this...at first i was jus samplin but now i love this...fuck the commercialized bullshit these days n im only 15

  • i here ya i only use to sample this music, and now i find myself listing to this generation, but i agree with you modern hip hop is sooo fucking fake, im only 19, but i will always bump that 90's era of hip hop, "mobb deep wu tang 4L"

  • @NagChampa72 u're so right.... Wu Tang, MF DOOM, Madlib, Peanut butter Wolf, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist and others have brought this back!!

  • @NagChampa72 The comment is total codswallop. I've been DJing, and collecting this type of music, and also every type of music pre 1980 and I have no interest in hip-hop whatsoever.

  • @TheEddieBastard And i assume you are the expert of codswallop? No one cares about what your experience is and if you like or dislike hip hop. Your statement does not disqualify mine so what is your point really?

  • @NagChampa72 I have been an underground musician since 79' your arrogance is appalling. I know of countless surf, low fi, punk, and new wave bands since 1975 that list people like Les Baxter, Leroy Holmes, John Barry, Ennio Morricone..ect as influences. Nobody has forgotten, and its interest was actually peaked in the 90's and has continued to grow since.

  • @agonaces

You are a dinosaur who has lost touch.

Maybe you'd prefer if it weren't like this, but, fact is, without hip hop sampling (xerox) and slicing (collage) of funk, soul, etc loops, breaks, etc, there would be little to no awareness amongst my generation of any of that music ever existing. I'm talking about average joe music head, not captain college up the ass music student. And then there's people like me, who make hip hop music. So obviously I have my own bias.

    Just my opinion.

  • @agonaces You have a problem with comprehension appearantly.

  • @agonaces You have a problem with comprehension appearantly. Read what you wrote and read the comments posted after.

  • fuck the term "real music" and fuck you

  • ghostface sampled this for run , rza is genius
