@SethShadowImprov Thanks, man. Top surgery can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $9,000, from most of the surgeons I've heard about. Unfortunately Steinwald is on the pricier side, and generally costs more in the $8k - $9k range, but I feel that the extra cost would be worth it because I prefer his technique and like the look of his results. I think his cost varies depending on the patient, but some top surgeons only charge one flat rate.
Loans: Subsidized and Unsubsidized - Subsidized, the government pays the interest, you don't have to start paying them back or accumulating interest until 6 months after you graduate - Unsubsidized, interest starts accumulating on them immediately and you normally end up having to pay the amount the loan was for (like $3000) back three times in the interest it accumulates (like $9000) but most student loans just accumulate interest and you don't have to pay them back till after graduation
- Math tutor for people trying to pass college algebra and high school math during summer school (talk to local high school guidance counselors or college math tutor lab?)
- If you're still doing engineering, push your resume like no other, talk to your school's career center and see if you can get a paid internship, because most engineering internships pay really well (also don't be afraid of relocation for an internship)
