She played this in Stage 2 of the Chopin Competition that is still ongoing right now. She's even better now than she used to be in this video, exhibiting a much stronger personality. You can watch the Chopin Competition live online if you just google it.
Seriously , this girl ( should be around her 18..s now) is more than amazing.
She is unbelievable complete pianist. She has everything: Understanding, prhasing, kind of Argerich tecnique, and she is so elegant and sober...............
I believe she is the big , but really big exception among Asian pianists. I know she was born in US but her genes are Asian. Unbelievable.
This pianist shows an outstanding effort and professionalism, but art is a higher thing than craftsmanship. Watch Evgeny Kissin play Chopin and you would have to be deaf not to see the difference: the presence of soul.
Actual Kissin playing is plenty of very blurry sound due to an excess in the use of pedal........... and he is not any more the musician he was at 14 years old.
Anyway, what do you call soul? a kind of personal subjetive apreciation?
I'm not gay as you say. I'm a normal man unlike you. You are just a youtube critic and LOSER/BAD pianist by profession. Got to go now. See you 'mr.bravo'
"BNestimmterdas" is one more of the group of homosexuals whose nicknames are: " Lagrettabarreto" " cherygarcia" "Kseto88" and now the last one "Jorgebachelet" a gay too. who come here to SPAM some great pianists as Arrau, Rubinstein, and in special the young Claire Huangci. All of them hate women (very big homosexuals)and are fan of the Pycho pianist Lang Lang.
Can i just say to you ytpiano7 without getting too involved in this whole little dispute, that i also love Claire Huangci... but i am also a 'big homosexual' Can i ask you what's wrong with being gay? Sorry but please don't use it as an offence...
Read piece of crap ( nerd..thisk343498 ) i am not South American ( by born ) but one of my nationalities is from a Country of South America. My main nationality is Italian becuase i was born in Italy if that makes you happy imbecil
But ...so which is the problem with born in South America, or in any other country? bastard? From where is Martha Argerich? Baremboim? Arrau? Nelson Freire? Cristina Ortiz? Giomar novaes? Roberto Szydon?
You are a mentally retarded ans probably a big homosexual...
Are you going to give lessons about my nationality? piece of crap?
Where do you get the idea i am Brasilian? .......Maybe you watch too many Scifi ...movies........piece of idiot?
Concerning your wrong information ( despite i was born in Italy) , you have to know if you are even the 5 th generation by your father side, you have rigth to the EUROPEAN nationality (of course with mention in Italy) .
Seriously: are you kidding, or are you a nerd? Don´t you realize my mother tongue is not English? . Ask any Italian how they write "Brasil" with S or with Z? Anyway : I play much in south America (included BRASIL) and i use the S for that reason too. Should i write Equator? or Ecuador? . I hope you get the answer. should i pronounce Chile or "Chili" ? in english way? understand?. More than enough. Uhm....should i write : locopiano or lokopiano?..since lokopiano is an state of art?
There is an overall "European mentality" - as opposed to an American mentality. The big difference being a less materialistic attitude and a greater respect for the historical past.
imperfections are always a very important part of claire's interpretation because it's already a part of herserlf in her playing. she can't perfect a piece. she can never will. she will always remain robotic. she plays this piece unprofessionally as her touch in piano.
You don't hear satisfying performances of the Chopin Op.22 very often. The entire piece, especially the Grand Polonaise, is intertwined with both melodic nuances and bravura passages. Many pianists are good at either one of those. But she did both very well. There were some minor mistakes in the finale. But she is fully capable of perfecting them.
Claire Huangci has a great talent and a promising future. Everything I've heard by her shows not only superb technique but a good sense for interpretation. True, she sometimes goes too fast, but she's never less than compelling.
she should marry with Li Yundi.

Stravinsky: Etude op.7/4
Chopin: Andante spianato e Grande Polacca brillante, op.22

Abother Bralian that think is Italian...
The nationality in Italy is not "jus solis"; it is "jus sanguinis".
That means: If you born in Italy, you have the Italian natonality only if one of your parents are Italian...
NOBODY acquire Italian nationality "borning in Italy"...

There s no such thing as "EUROPEAN nationality". Each country has its own nationality and nationality rules.
In italy, there is no limit of generation... and the father side is necessary only for people that was born before 1/1/1948.
There is no nationality "by birth" in Italy OR...
pincelso 2 years ago
There is only the possibiliy to acquire italian nationality
"By birth on Italian territory to stateless parents or to unknown parents or to parents who cannot transmit their nationality"
since the liar alleged haing a "south american nationlit", it is not stateless or from unknown parents... or even adopted...
You have bad luck of an expert in Italian nationality read that bunch of bullshit you wrote...
