I think it's weird how there's always that dust just rolling across the floor before a tornado. It looks kinda cool. Like those old movies in the desert. :)

Seriously, hold the camera still especially when documenting weather events. When you are in the car it is one thing but when you are standing there documenting.. If you don't have steady arms then either use the roof of your car as a tripod or let somebody else with steady arms do the filming.

Hey, remember your user name and THINK!

If you knew ANYTHING about the nature (pun intended) of Tornadoes and storm chasing, you would know that a tripod isn't practical. You have to be ready to MOVE at a moment's notice.

Being a stom chaser means that you are basically on a battlefield. It's you against the elements and the tornado is the enemy that you dare not underestimate.

Think of why. :)
