You're absolutely right, I had written and discussed that very issue.

Blame the gadgets and gizmos that pre occupy everyone. Kids today will have no childhood. Their memory of a child hood memory will be that of a Text message.

Parents don't talk to thier kids, everyone talks through computers and texts, it's disgusting.

People need to start reading again, and I don't mean online but even books.

Expand the mind.

Chomsky's death will be regretted deeply by thousands throughout the world who will find that world greatly poorer for his passing. He will remembered and respected, his books will be read, his lectures and talks played. I daresay a few things will be named after him as well.

In other words, everything important about him will endure.
