@kamikatze07 Mortars are usually used by pyrotechnicians to launch shell's like these (and smaller of cause). For small shells (3-6 inches) I've primarily used polycarbonate mortar tubes or glassfiber - I can't tell you what type of mortar they've used for this one. :)
