  • mewithoutYou transcends religion. nuff said

  • I'm a complete atheist. I believe in no religions or gods, but I still love mewithoutYou. Regardless of my beliefs, I think there's a lot of truth in the ideas and themes of their lyrics. A lot of their songs seem to deal with the dangers of letting yourself be consumed by the world, material wealth, and your own ego. These are ideas found in many religions, and I don't need to believe in any gods to see the truth in them.

  • Wow... <3 HalleluYah~

  • Oh Christ when you're ready to come back

But, I think I'm ready for you to come back

But.. if you want to stay wherever exactly it is you are

    That's ok too....

It's really none of my business..<3

  • i absolutely love the chorus of this song. are there any other songs like that?

  • nice job :)

  • this is a good video but if ur a fan u should kno it's mewithoutYou

  • holy shit...speechless

  • fuckin love the bass

  • whoever doesnt like mewithoutyou is sorrowly missing out

  • actually, the songs are about him trying to find faith in god.

  • I'm not religious really. I'm more of a believer in life and being a good person. This song makes me feel like I'm missing out on something so beautiful. I hope I find my own version of faith soon.

I love this video too. It's wonderful.

  • I think religion is stupid, i could really love these guys, i loved their music till i found out about their religious views now i guess i cant really listen to this anymore.

  • @TReoS96 haha, most people have a distaste for religion based on it's dismissal of others and narrowmindedness. congratulations, you've managed to be be a backwards fool without any organized help.

  • @TReoS96 That is just unfair. If you liked their music before, like it now. They aren't trying to force their opinions on anyone. Its just self-expression. I'm not religious in the least, and this is one of my favorite bands of all time. Who cares if they're religious? The music is great, and the lyrics are beautiful.

  • I'm a man and every time I hear this song, I realize how far away from the truth I really am. I cry uncontrollably and am forced to confront my emotions. Oh God I'm such a coward, please understand I'm only just a man.

  • This song makes me want to believe.

  • @MrDavisJordan Then believe bro!!

  • Amazing...

  • I love the "Jesus, remember me when we come to Your kingdom." and "We bow in unity, when we come to Your kingdom." in the background.

  • sends a chill through my being... love it.

  • "like a horn blown by some sad angel"

  • (cont'd) longer bound by the idea that of god as a supreme being, but rather as the very fabric of all life(humans, animals, plants, the planet itself) that connects us all. a continous spirit energy that ties everything. because when you think of it. everything is connected and every single thing you can think of came from the earth, so in my opinion you are god, im god, the world is god. the one force that connects us all. in the words of bob marley "one love"

  • thank you for keeping me in your prayers. but im sorry when i say i dont think im being inmature when say i dont believe in Jesus Christ. with the information i've gathered and the things i've come to see as truths, it is very hard for me to accept that Jesus Christ truly existed. and im not trying to argue with you so please dont take this out of context. i used to be a believer in christianity, and i havent ever really lost my spirtuality. in fact it has only made it stronger because im no

  • i got that very tree tattooed on my rib cage! haha a few months ago, i googled MEWITHOUTYOU images and that popped up and i fell in love with it. its so different. everything about this band is amazing.

  • and i kissed the filthy ground! on the first dry spot i found, and I didn't have to wonder why i was laying down... i love that

  • fuckin lyrical brilliance... truly inspirational

  • Dear ThePope17,

how can you not believe in jesus?

he's a proven historical character, though his "miracles" are not.

    He factualy existed.

maybe i misunderstand what you mean...

  • @Olivia7Ptv actually there is no proof that jesus was real at all

  • @strangestkidaround thats where faith steps in.

  • @WOAHwoahwoooah so if i have faith in unicorns they must be real?

  • @strangestkidaround being sarcastic really isnt going to prove your point any more. There is evidence everywhere you look. Most people want some crazy thing to happen for God to prove Himself. But in truth a single blade of grass growing is amazing and proves it. Its true we cant see God Himself but we can see His works and have faith in Him.

  • @WOAHwoahwoooah lol thinking things are amazing isnt any kind of proof either and neither is blind faith

  • @strangestkidaround I personally am Agnostic. but I understand why people believe. Its more so the concept of what these things have been said to offer for so long. Real or not, Jesus helps people.

that is FACT. Even if he DIDNT exist(which cant be proven)Hes VERY real to millions of people that MADE him real in their lives, Nothing anyone can do or say can make a difference. Faith is faith for the very reason that not everyone can have it.If having faith in Unicorns helps you in life, awesome!

  • @strangestkidaround There also is no proof that Jesus doesnt exist.

  • @Midgetsinthongs how about the fact that the romans documented almost everything that ever happened but there is no mention of a beardy guy coming back from the dead and floating up into space.

p.s do you believe in thor or the flying spaghetti monster

  • @strangestkidaround Did you just make that up? I bothered to research, and there are over forty writers who mention Jesus. Many of them of different religions. And also, I'd like to add that your statement still isn't proof.

  • There are VERY few things in this world that can bring me to tears...this song is one of them.

"If there was no way into God, I would not have stayed in this grave of a body for so long."

    I could've written that...

  • This song hits me so hard...

  • man there one a few bands that ther lyrics have a meaning to them

  • This song gets me every time... every single time...

  • i cry everytime i listen to this song.

  • "If there was no way into God, I would never have laid in this grave of a body for so long."

    Very powerful lyricism there.

  • its funny how i DO NOT believe in organized religion or even in the existence of Jesus(note that i said Jesus not god or whatever you would call a higher power) and even still this song manages to touch my heart

  • @ThePope17 well bro it's all about Jesus, without him we cannot be with God

  • @ThePope17 You're welcome to choose who and what you believe in, but to deny the existence of Jesus Christ is just pure immaturity. Whether or not you want to believe that He is indeed to the Messiah sent to shed the ultimate sacrifice for the cleansing of our sins, you can't completely deny His existence. He was a human being, and this is shown throughout history in not only the Bible, but also historical records from non-believers. You'll be in my prayers...

  • @ThePope17 AARON KNOWS WHAT HES TALKING ABOUT!

  • @ThePope17 Agreed ;) your username makes this even better

  • @iainmorrisonuk lol my username is actually also my name. my last name is Pope. but thanks : )

  • @ThePope17 You might not believe in his existence... except the critics of the roman empire DID... who would have known whether or not he existed because it was close history. Check out Josephus, he was a critic but recognized that Jesus was real.

  • This is my favorite song. The emotion it conveys is exactly how I feel all the time.

  • jesus whats happening, not she is

  • in the beginning two voices are heard what does the second one say? All I hear is sth like : 'She is......' I'm talking about the words heard between 'on a bus ride into town' and 'i wondered out loud'

  • @geshovski he says i think anyways " jesus remember me. when we come to the kingdom.... when you come."

  • If I didn't have you as my guide I'd still wander, lost in Sinai, or down by the tracks watching trains go by to remind me, there are places that aren't here.

    This song is amazing.

  • its not bunny, but funny at 1:40

but they'd probably be able to pull it off anyways

  • ah 1:50 *

  • wow nice lyrics there <3

  • the best one for me... I dont know why, but I love this song so much!

  • wow is beyond great.

  • I wonder what they're saying in the background.

  • Me too...it sounds sort of like, "Jesus remember me, when you come to Your kingdom. Jesus remember me when you come" or something along those lines, but it changes up a lot, on top of the fact that I'm not even sure if that's right ^ haha.

  • @jxrdxnG yeah its defintly Luke 23:42 "jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom"...and i think after that hes saying "may we bow in unity when you come to your kingdom" "may we bown in unity until you come"

  • i love this song(:

reminds me of the carride home with the boyfriend(:

  • I love this song so much. Thanks for the post.
