@Andrei819 Thanks mate, I asume you are involved with Racing Code right?? I looked up your web site but couldn't find it :-( where is it?
Have you ever thought of doing a DIY kit for MGB's? Its one of the largest comunities of Classic Car Owners it is something that its not avialable right now, some have experimented with it, but requires a lot of knowledge beyond our siple cars. I know I'll would like go EFI/ECU with mine; I am sure there are many more MGB guys interested.
Hi Alex. A kit for MGB cars can be made. Most of the parts for the Spitfire are bought from UK ( Jenvey).
We now post our videos with the user TheRacingCode . We are from Romania the website is RacingCode dot RO. There is also an email at the end of the video. For more details please send me a message or an email. Thanks. Andrei
Wow, this is amazing, a custom ECU!! To be able to retrofit all the technology to control the engine of your clasic.... simply brilliant.
How much money are we talking about?
I have a 78MGB and I would loooove to update to EFI & ECU.. but apparently you expend almost as much as you paid for your old car :-(

@alexQw33
This was a full restoration project (a bit expensive because of all the extras - custom leather int. and others)
I think a restoration and conversion can be done with a decent budget and a bit of passion.

@lillskiten1337
There can be made kits for GT6, MGB, Spitfire and any other car.
For this project we used:
throttle bodies (and other parts) from JENVEY
fuel injectors from BOSCH
crank triggeer wheel and inductive crank position sensor
K&N filters ans some other parts.
For details please contact me by email. (listed at the end of the video)

would rather have carbs any day

@pikiejohn
If this was a Chevelle SS '74 then definitely Edelbrock would have been the choice.
In this case we had to choose the effivcency and power offered by multipoint injection system.
Andrei819 11 months ago
@pikiejohn They probably want better performance and fuel economy than you can get from a carb.

A big difference in performance I gather. How about fuel economy?

@Conrad1147
A vehicle using Multipoint Injection system is more fuel efficient than a carbutareur one.
Still fuel consumption is proportional with how much you hit the gas. :)
