  • That's the way Devil makes candybar in Hell.

  • Darth vaders light sabre factory, they just need to cut them to length ....

  • Chuck Norris's spagetti...

  • PUT THE DAMN PHONE AWAY AND GET THAT DAMN TORCH!!

  • that would be nice christmas decoration ^^

  • I have a great picture of 8 billets cobbled out of the first roughing stand

  • Sith's factory for the production of the lasersabers

  • and no one thought to hit the e-stop before it made a two-ton figure eight?

  • @ShuRugal1 if they stopped, the steel would cool in the machine and would take hours to get out...

  • @AKAtheA That makes sense. Simpler to let it feed out then drop the whole ball back in the furnace that to have to cut it out of the machine.

  • oh that's a nice one, ours just usually run out some S curves into the floor

  • How did you get it to cobble so neatly?

    lol

Looks like someone has some cutting to do...

  • it looks more awesome in real? can you see it shining like that?

  • perfect figure eights

  • So dont you stop the machines instead of let it go? Or do you have to let it go on like that to clear out the machines to start again? Must have to really be on the lookout all the time in that place. Cool video.

  • Getting mauled by that on my way down the stairs would've ruined my day.

  • darth maul is gonna be angry you messed up that custom order

  • thats kinda freaking cool that it just naturally wound itself right up.

  • At least it is quite well behaved.

  • So this is how they make lightsabers!!!

  • 事故?

  • at least it made a nice neat pile.

  • Hmmm, how do you clean that up

  • @wolfcatsden

im guessing after a hundreds when its actually cooled down enough to actually touch lol

  • @wolfcatsden

    *hundred years*

  • It happens a lot. The bar backed up right before the cobble shears. When that happens the bar comes out before going into the shears. By the way this is not just a steel mll, we run a lot of nickle base alloys. Different properties all of the time.

  • @irlvs how do you clean that up would hate too have that job

  • how often does this happen in a steel mill?

  • @dyobeats depends on how good the crew is, what product is running, etc. I worked at a bar mill and you could count on at least one per day....

  • probably the head of the billet didn't enter properly on the entry guide causing it to got stuck. btw, why isn't the snap shears and crop shears working for cobble cut?

  • pretty

  • trippy
