Hi, am doin a project for school about witchces, I wanted to talk about this and over the fact that nowdays its still verry clear (visible) in countries such as Africa etc etc. But I am a bit confused:one moment I read that its an old religion( based on nature and that its not focused on doing evil) and other moments I read that this is a evil thing ( its all black magic)..So my question is, is this all true or is it so that Witchcraft has a white and black side all in one..Thx for the help

I dislike the words Merry Meet, for me there is nothing realistic on. The modern witchcraft is developed early last century and has not much to do anymore with the authentic witchcraft. Not the way they do it now.

Okay, 2 point here. What they do in circle as in the cast is quite close to true craft. Either they are changeing certian phrases to keep thier oath or they are book read fluffys. I do not think they are fluffys. Things are too close to come to a dumb ass conclusion. Thier power rituals look honest, thats a great change in most of the fluffy things I see on the craft. Only have seen part one, got 5 more parts to go. Great video, best Ive seen to date on utube.

to pagans nature is sacred and holy, everywhere on earth is a sacred space and has a spirit. I'll assume your coming from a christian standpoint since you say nature is controlled by satan? firstly pagans dont believe in satan, the gods 'controll' nature though i think thats a strong word for it. hope that helps :)

If you could, please either look outside or go to a beautiful spot outdoors, or go online and look at some photographs of nature and then think about it and you tell me---could something so evil control something so beautiful and awe-inspiring as God's creation? There is no taint of evil to be found in the natural world.

And no we don't worship nature--that is a common misconception about us. :) We revere and cherish nature, we worship the source of that creation. Hope this helps.

Pagans do not believe in a satan. It is a Christian creation. It has nothing to do with any pagan beliefs. Was created to put fear into others so they can control the mind. Just to answer your question.

The verse was originally something else like thou shall not suffer a poisoner to live. King James had a problem with witches so when he had the bible translated he had the poisoner to changed to witch. This started the inquisition. The bible is full of contradictions, lies, and mistranslations.

I wouldn't say that, but Gerald DID draw on just about every ancient European religion he could look into, and a few Ceremonialist and Freemason practices, but I read this particular article that Freemasonry bears a striking resemblance to ancient Druidic rituals.

FALSE, the Wiccan Religion has NOT existed longer then Christianity, Wicca was brought to light in 1954 (Some say invented) by Gerald Gardener, Wicca is not the mystery religion that was practiced by people during the Spanish Inquisition and it's only link to any earth religion which pre-dates Christianity is the blanket term of Paganism, and because paganism is a term which was only really being used during the christian medival period

The idea of Nature worship has, but Wicca as it exists today was invented in the mid part of the last century, Nature worship and healing using traditional methods are not Wicca par-excellence. Don't get me wrong it's a very helpful path to follow, but You should look into the roots of "Wicca" itself before you talk about it's actual history.
