  • poor russell, he was a champ

  • If anyone could've been a candidate for a Redemption Island return, it should be Russell S. But I have a feeling that because he passed out multiple times, he may never be able to come back to Survivor.

    It's a shame. He could've gone much further.

  • Those lazy cows should have done some work instead of leaving it up to Russell. They are responsible.

  • Poor Russell. This is one of the better series. Lots of big characters and unsuspecting victims.

  • me caia bien rossell vale era un buen lider creo q uno de los mejores en todo lo q va de survivor q lastima.. debio irse el otro cabron

  • See that everyone? That's the good Russell, as I like to call him.

    Hantz = Evil Russell

    Swan = Good Russell

  • @Cereghini ironically two they were the only ones doing anything around camp instead of complaining about the rain.

  • @ecwecwecw1

    That's true, but Russell Swan worked himself way too hard all the same. He should have given himself more time to get used to the conditions, and he should have had more food and water of his own, rather than just providing for everyone else like the good leader he was. He has a noble spirit certainly, but there is a physical limit to how much you can give without your body stopping you of its own fruition.

  • @Cereghini Oh yeah I agree but at the sametime he has no one to blame but himself for that happening. As you said there was a physical limit to what you can do on so little.

    But at the sametime you have to relises that Russell Swan doing so much work around camp was only emphises on the show because of what happened. If he was fine I don't think they would of shown as much. For all we know "Evil" Russell might of work twice as hard. It is a 40 minute show covering about 3 days.

  • @ecwecwecw1

    No, I know it was his fault, but at least it was self-sacrifice and not just plain self abuse. As for Russell Hantz, I know for a fact that he hardly lifted a finger around camp. I remember hearing tribemates of his in various seasons complaining about that. He was the "king" after all, and kings don't HAVE to work.

    Ah sarcasm, how I love you! XD

  • @Cereghini Well in this season I saw him doing alot of work and myself haven't read any interviews were someone said that but I did notice in Heroes vs Villains and Redemption island he was alot more lazy

    As for the whole evil arguement I don't judge someone for what I see on TV. As I said It is 40 minutes covering 3 days. I can't make a judgement on someone like that. I don't even judge what people on the island say about each other. What you are in survivor is probabily not who you in life.

  • @ecwecwecw1

    I agree with your argument about his real life personality versus his Survivor personality, because he's always nicer at the reunions than he is during the game. I only label him as "evil Russell" because that's in contrast with Russell Swan, whom I was a fan of from the get-go because he was such a nice guy and a hard worker.

    By the time he played his last two seasons, he thought he was king, and would be able to wrap his tribe around his finger regardless of how much work he did.

  • @Cereghini Yeah I agree. THe second time he played what cost him I believe was his own arrogances. His 3rd time I believe what cost him is what cost Boston Rob his 3rd time (Even though all the diehard Boston Rob fan boys will disagree with me) He believe way to much of his own hype and got way to arrogant and cocky.

    The only time I have ever thought someone was a bad person from watching survivor was Dreamz.

  • @ecwecwecw1

    Dreamz...I remember him vaguely, but what did he do? I wasn't too fond of Richard Hatch (Hach?), and then there was Johnny Fairplay, but other than that, I can't think of anyone else who was majorly evil.

    It's called believing in your own power, which is never a healthy mentality. Pride comes before the fall, after all.

    Random question, but what's your opinion on Coach? There were a lot of people who thought he was a jackass, but I want your opinion.

  • @Cereghini Dreamz was the guy who Yau-man gave the car to in survivor fiji. In return Dreamz promised to give Yau-Man the immunity neckless if he won it at the final four immunity challenge. He won It and didn't give it to him. That really bothered me because he formly homeless so he should understand the value of people giving him stuff. Also no one voted him and he must of known no one would vote for him after that.

    I will PM my opinion of Coach?

  • pobre russell, ke rabia lo ke le paso sin duda es un gran gurrero, un verdadero surviovr
