Thoreau wrote once that "millions are awake enough for physical labour, but only one in a hundred millions to a poetic or divine life" And so it is. Most people who surround me are only interested in movies about killing, vampires, computer games, cars, motorbikes, fighting, wining sport competitions, anything but nature`s beauty. Millions are awake for plain stupidity...
Just started reading " My First Summer In The Sierra " by John Muir. This is the first of his books I've read and it's GREAT ! I don't read much, but I'll read everything his name is attached to..." Nature's Temple " is next.
I love Muir, but who is this guy reading?? Kind of breaks the spell.
