  • omg so cute lol

  • hi

  • jon hamm muppet....

  • Omg :D This came on while my three year old was watching Sesame Street and I was like holy crap! <3

  • I wish they said we're glad men at the end.

  • I wanna watch the sesame street episode where the don draper puppet fucks a whore and divorces his wife

  • haha this goes down with pulp muppets! look it up

  • Are the pink and purple ones, um, homosexual?

  • Why the hell didnt they say "glad men". are the writers really that ignorant?

  • When I saw the picture with the raccoons stealing the honey before I watch this I watched a happy tree friends video of the raccoons and steal stuff and most of the time they laugh and in the picture they were laughing :o

  • Would have been SO much better if they said Glad instead of happy...

  • @mrgingerbred

I KNOW! They should have said Glad Men...

  • Why are they wearing hats... inside?!

  • @Sergeantspoon because they are mad men

  • 168 people are SAAD SAAAD MEN

  • This is the simplest form of comedy. Love it !!!

  • Sycophants?!

  • Splendid! I love how they wear the hats the whole time.

  • They should've called themselves Glad Men instead of Happy Men! Then it would've rhymed with Mad Men and Sad Men!

  • "Yes I am...watch the suit..." LOL!

  • This. Is. Awesome.

  • Sesame Street has always had great in-jokes to entertain the grownups....I remember "I, Cookie" with a mosaic of the Cookie Monster, LOL!

  • Why didn't they go for "We're Glad Men" at the end?

  • And this is why i love sesame street...

  • you never saw this, this never happened, it will surprise you how much this never happened

  • Typical ad hominem attack. My psychology is fine. Why don't you address the question I raise (or at lease let yourself think about it). In the process try to answer this honestly (or, again, at least give it some thought): Don't you find shows like Sesame Street have made such passive and superficial entertainment out of fundamental skill acquisition that they create an aversion in kids to anything that is even slightly inconvenient to learn?

  • @yhnbu I'm pretty sure Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers, and Reading Rainbow gave me a head start in appreciating music and literature. Speaking for myself, they helped to engender a lifelong love of learning. I strongly disagree with your hypothesis.

  • @tm2jetfire Don't feed the troll.

  • Yet one more illustration why Sesame Street has killed creativity, initiative, independence, taste and thoughtfulness--not to mention the brain--in our children. What labored inanity.

  • @yhnbu ill never understand how cultural references can evoke so much hostility in internet people. you have a terrible primitive psychology, go sulk elsewhere

  • @LambChowder1 Don't feed the troll.

  • Guy Smiley is back on TV again!

  • Shouldn't this have been, Mad, Sad, and Glad?

  • "Good work, sycophants..."

  • @IDF1987 it's not there because Sesame Street is an incredibly liberal show for children. Why teach that attitude to children? Ahhhh<3

  • how are kids suppose to get this ? unless they watch mad men and why are they watching mad men to begin with.

  • @ysssuhi I believe they did this with the anticipation that parents would be watching the show with their kids. It's the same reason why some kids movies (ie: Shrek) have jokes that can be slightly adult and funny to parents, but won't pick up on kids' radar.

  • @ysssuhi : Like one poter already said, Sesame Street and childrens shows and movies in general tend to have subtle adult jokes or adult references in case parents are watching this with their children.

  • rated s for sucky

  • what the hell happened to sesame street.... honestly....

  • @BushidoBudo9000 it became good

  • @IDF1987 well, he doesn't like 'coons...

  • this is weird, not even close to the feel of Mad Men

  • @RealEstatebyErwin not at all

  • @RealEstatebyErwin Was it supposed to be...for preschoolers??????

  • Sycophant 1: ME TOO!!!! [gasp] I'M SAD!!!!!!!

Sycophant: 2: [gasp, sniffles] Very Sad!

Sycophant 1: [gasp] SAD SAD SAD!!!

Both: [gasp] WE'RE SAD MEN!!!!!!!! [They let loose crying full force.]

  • Lol this is awesome

  • I think they kinda missed the point.

  • Guys I think the crew at Sesame Street know what Mad Men is all about. Where do you think they got the intro from? Plus I believe they don't want to make it exactly like the show or else kids would get curious about it. Duh.

  • i dont think sesame street knows why the show is called mad men

they are not mad, they are ad men working on madison avenue

    madison men == mad men

  • @daedralord1 I'm pretty sure they do, but why would they explain that in a little kid's show? It's a parody of course, and is teaching little kids different emotions (mad, sad, happy).

  • @IsItTheBagel your right :)

  • @IsItTheBagel Uh, sorry, I never realized you had to teach emotions to little kids (or anyone else for that matter).

  • @yhnbu This is for like 2-3 year olds who are learning basic vocabulary. And the writing staff was probably just having fun.

  • @daedralord1 christ, you must work hard to be this stupid.

  • This is the longest I've seen "Mr. Drapper" NOT have sex. Unless, of course, you count the fact that, at this moment, somebody's wearing him as "their personal hand puppet."

  • @mediamadman747 you don't know what's going on under that table

  • Now I'm just imagining some toddler walking in on his parents watching Mad Men and being like "oh I love this show"

  • I got kinda mad...........Sesame street messing with my emotions.

  • all i needed was a christina hendricks puppet, but no sesame street won't cater to my desires

  • @emmetLshavinski look to Avenue Q

  • He called them sycophants. OMG. <3 Sesame Street- you ROCK

  • C'est vraiment nul a chier, aucun rapport avec la série de base, dont le nom vient de Madison avenue. Une parodie par des cons, pour des cons.

Sésame street, du sous muppet show.

If you don't understand what i'm saying, learn french ^^ i could translate, but i won't

  • @Gobeization "Une parodie par des cons, pour des cons." You couldn't say it better in any language. Mes compliments.

  • Mad Men is an amazing show.

  • The show is called "Mad Men" because it bases on people who work in advertising in Madison Avenue, not because they're mad, sad or happy... Plus, none of them ever wear hats in those meetings :)

  • @LoLIceCream123 its sesame street retard...

  • Comment removed

  • Breaking Bad Sesame Street sketch please, kthxbai.

  • most annoying thing that I have ever seen. yes I have seen the social network.

  • My daughter just asked me about Mad Men after seeing this on Sesame Street and I just said we will never talk of this again.

  • I like that they fit the word 'sycophants' into a Sesame Street sketch :)

  • Gentlemen do not wear hats indoors.

  • This is weak. Don't ever do a Mad Men parody again Sesame Street!

  • @megatron Oh god. In fact this sums up that series.

  • Glad Men?

  • there is no metor of how schizofrenic this is...

  • I'm not sure whether it's because the Muppet looks uncannily like Don Draper, or because John Hamm looks uncannily like a Muppet. :D Either way it works.

I love the little touches like the opening credits and them pounding the desk after they speak. :D To the writers and Muppeteers who worked on this sketch: "Good work, sycophants!" It has made me Happy.... Happy... I'm a HAPPY WOMANN!!!! It truly has been an emotional roller coaster. :D

  • @AuburnRed1 It's because Jon Hamm doesn't have any lips just like this Muppet

  • Comment removed

  • And that kids is the world of corporate advertising! :D

Remember when kids wanted to do useless jobs like firemen and police officers???

  • Comment removed

  • Love the Muppet Men! funny!

if you like mad men ck out this L.A. band that has a mad men vibe. very cool.

    search cinnamon doll jazz

  • I imagine the sycophant on the right is Pete Campbell and the other is Ken Cosgrove.

  • Frank Oz is playing Mr Drapper, for those you who cant recogize his voice, though you should.

  • "Good work sycophants." - I love the way that Sesame Street is able to cater to both the infantile and their parents that are forced to watch it with them.

  • They don't wear their fedoras indoors...

  • Nice short Movie

  • NOOOOOOOOOOO WAAAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good work sycaphants , lol

I like it , my how Sesame Street has changed over the years ,,, lol

  • Good work, sycophants!

  • @ginnoveffect Children these days are so advanced. I didn't learn "sycophants" until much, much later. :)

  • how the hell did they make a puppet look like jon hamm?

  • No Elmo?

    ....a thing like that

  • 0:43 lol mad men

  • the yellow guy actually kinda looks like don draper...

  • They didn't say "glad" because they are trying to teach kids the meaning of these words and how to verbalize their emotions and feelings. "Glad" would have fit better in terms of humor, but they were trying to teach kids what "happy" means, not "glad." "Happy" is a more fundamental word and more likely to be used by small children than "glad," which is a word that is more subtle and less assoicated with emotion and feeling. Happy is the opposite of sad; glad really isn't..

  • Should have been Glad Men.

  • Good work sycophants LOL

  • If Jon Hamm voiced Don Draper in this it would've been even better.

  • Génial !!!

  • Don Draper's tongue is shaped like a heart

  • I will never understand why they didn't say "Glad Men" at the end... just seems so simple.

  • @mercurymay

Maybe it was for irony. (And to make the kids say the same thing. Thereby making the kids feel super smart.)

  • @mercurymay I wonder if it was a troll

  • @mercurymay The social conservatives would get their panties in a bunch.

  • @mercurymay

children would be confused. they know what happy is. and studies show that children often get confused when the same thing or idea has two names.

  • @readyfortakeoff111 oh come on, like they know what a sycophant is. or the 1960s. or consumerism.

  • @mercurymay They want the children to connect the dots for themselves. It's called word association, and is used in 1st and 2nd grade classes and sometimes in Kindergarten. Sesame Street really is good for your children to watch. :) Subtle, yet educational. PBS rules.

  • why this remains the best educational childrens show on tv

    absolutely brilliant

  • Good work sychophants.

    X'DDD

  • good work sychophants. I have to start watching more sesame street. or more madmen. i can't decide.

  • @nihon0019 Sesame for the win!

  • good work sychophants. I have to start watching more sesame street. or more madmen. i can't decide.

  • AHAHAHHAA LLOL IM 18 AND I LOVE THIS <3

  • Good work sycophants!! LOL!! But yes they should have rhymed it with glad. Man, those people at The Street are really starting to lose it. :/

  • i thought for sure they would rhyme 'glad' at the end.

  • @cobrasaboteur1 I thought so too, its weird they didn't right?

  • "Good work syncophants!" I don't even watch the show and I found that hilarious!!!

  • @dizkidliz i don't watch Mad Men that is...My friend LOVES Mad Men and True Blood and she loved these parodies too!

  • lol...don wearing a hat in the boardroom?

  • who ever made this has never watched Mad Men in their life...

  • @Trevtab22 well i don't think incorperating a lot of the mad men material would be the right thing for kids, at least i think haha xD

i like that series but i think this parody is so cute (:

  • @ThinkFastBoom93 agreed but i still stand by my comment haha

  • What?! They could have totally completed the rhyme scheme had they used "Glad Men" instead of "Happy Men"! This makes me mad and sad.

  • Glad men

  • Where is the drinking? Where is the smoking? Where is the sex? Where is the sexism? Where is the racism?

  • @IDF1987 if you are looking for all of that in a sesamestreet skit, then you have serious issues.

  • @imranite I'm thinking you've never watched an episode of Mad Men.

  • @IDF1987 I have watched every single episode of Mad Men. I am thinking that either you were being sarcastic, or you actually expect the Sesame Street version of Don Draper to be exactly like the original. I hope it is the former, not latter. :-)

  • @imranite Trust me, I wasn't expecting any of that from Sesame Street, but how could I not make that comment?

  • @IDF1987 okey dokey. :-)

  • @imranite Don't feed the troll! YEESH!

  • @IDF1987 There's anger...

  • @IDF1987 At least there is "drama"!

  • @IDF1987 All on Avenue Q

  • @IDF1987 Well that's just every tv show out there.

  • .... WHERE ARE CHRISTINA HENDRICKS?

  • haha! love this parody! very clever! i am a big fan of the show Mad Men. love that era and all things about it especially the music. found this band that should be on Mad Men. they are so hip and jazzy.

ck em out. cinnamon doll jazz

maybe they are talking about christina hendricks?

  • Dudes realize, this is for kids.

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • Sesame Street does parodies of adult content all the time- it's for parents who actually watch the show with their kids;.

Also, shame on them for not rhyming Glad with Sad and Mad.

  • do 7 year olds even understand what a sycophant is? or the business for that matter...

  • Shit just got serious.

  • Y'know this video taught me a lot what makes me mad, sad, happy and the meaning of life.

  • HAH GEH MEN

  • wtf are tehy seriously parodying an adult show ??

  • @hussi434 ...is this your first time watching Sesame Street?

  • ........WTF!? what child would understand this parody? I mean yeah any parents in the room might get it if they've ever seen the friggin show but come on! kids? really?

  • So, now Sesame Street endorse two happy pink gay assistants...

  • I can't believe I clicked this video and watched it to the end... -.- ... I'm 17, not 5...

  • Unlike the real Mad Men, this makes me want to be an ad exec!

  • Soundtrack should e 'mad men' by the hives. x>

  • Did he put his hand in his mouth O_o.. 1:23

  • 1000th

  • if they smoke wouldnt they caatch on fire

  • Isn't it Peggy's job to walk in with the happy ad?

  • Just needed Big Bird to show up as "Duck" Phillips.

  • @mdfilmguy your a genius

  • Sycophants!!! Freaking hilarious!

  • It makes me angry. Then depressed. Then gleeful.

  • Heh, they're still making these for both kids and parents. "Sycophants"? Love it.

  • I dunno how you guys missed GLAD instead of Happy at the end, but other than that another great Sesame Street Production

  • They act so gay, WTF?

  • @Okalani5000 Its sesame Street its not supposed to b good acting

  • @krougerlover13 I never said it was bad, I am just confused.

  • @Okalani5000

...they're muppets....it's supposed to be for kids....like toddlers.

  • @RebornRevolution *shrugs* Well no harm no foul.

  • What happened to the smoking, drinking, womanizing and black elevator operators in this video?

  • what is name of the video when the muppet counts and every time he say "count" and its censured

  • @harikiang the song of the count, by lemon demon

  • @harikiang

    Would be "The Count Censored"

I'd put the link, but JewTube is gay and won't let me.

  • @BarryBurtonfan yeah, lol it cracks me up how the head girl is like a madame

  • When did sesame street get amazing!? Who's writing for them?

  • I think they're all bipolar...

  • Its also a subtle introduction to kids about the power of visual communication and manipulation.
