  • and where you miss the soap? you mix it in the tank along with the water?

  • Can I use a aspirator Blower instead ???

  • Can u put the link where have u bought that black nosles ?

  • Great Job man! I cant believe it took me so long to find this video. I think I will use your design but ad an additional fan to throw the suds to make a Cannon like effect. Seriously awesome.

  • found all this stuff for 180 bucks on ebay

  • found a 1 hp blower a little cheaper does it matter if it's 3/4 compared to 1 hp?

  • Hey man I wanted to thank you for taking the time to make such an in-depth video. This is why the internet is awesome...Last year I spent $700 on one of these machines used from a company in Phoenix, AZ. The blower was only 1/2 hp and it put about the same amount of bubbles yours did. I wanted to add another system for larger parties; you have given me the tools I need. They also have an overpriced solution I plan to replicate. Have you tried adding glycol? That was one of the ingredients.

  • could you give dimensions of the bag? I got the same blower and netting and my bubbles aren't nearly as small and fine as yours. Any idea why?

  • @noiceeeeee having the same problem

  • Awesome

  • just buy 1 4 30 quid or $70

  • i like to stand right next to the machine and start making my :O face and say that im cumming everywhere and its funny when all the white foam is spewing everywhere

  • Nice build. I've been tweaking a snow machine design I found on a DIY site. The blower you bought is really quiet; very nice. Build a nice plenum and reduction and you should be able to throw evaporative snow too. Nice job. doityourselfchristmasDOTcom/forums/showthreadDOTphp?10360-DIY-Snow-Machine

  • @airuzz its called "WeedBlock" made buy a company called "easy gardener"

  • hom much in pounds loool

  • Hi, i have some question to ask you, the first one is how many watts the pump have?, The material is like nylon?, How many time did you spend making this machine?. Well, good videos, and this one is very interesting, specially because this machine is very simple to make, but is not easy to get the best results. Bye.

  • @gemiliano3 i you message me your email i can send you a list

  • @gemiliano3 i you message me your email i can send you a list

  • i tried everything as you did mine did not work

how many cfms is your fan

mine just bubbled up on the ground under the fan

    please help

  • Can you send me supplies details? Like specifications, amounts etc of all supplies used? dcdudl2@g.uky.edu thanks!

  • i want to come to one of your parties!

  • you are AWESOME MAN !

  • what is then brand of the sub pump and the carpet blower

  • could you please email me the specifications of the air blower and sub pump please(h/p), im trying to make one for school can u send to uadigwe@kent.edu

  • could you send me the exact names of the materials and equipment needed and basic set up, i speak spanish and i have to translate the name of all those things into spanish and it's easier if i have them written down, thanks, javicompany2012@gmail.com

  • @glasshousegirl those sprinkler heads have screws on them you can use to restrict the flow water. Give each of them quarter turns clockwise until you are consuming water at the rate you like

  • @viera95 How can I make my own professional grade foam solution? I've seen people on the internet say things like adding glycerine and corn syrup to dish soap.

@osgadj says to use sodium lauryl ether sulphate, this makes sense as sodium laureth sulfate is the foam base of shampoo.

Giving out the secret to a DIY foam machine is incredibly rad, but we could be set free from scam artists like Foamalicious with the pro formula.

  • what type of product you use to make the foam?

Here in Brazil I buy only the sodium lauryl ether sulphate produced. this is what you wear or have there also something else?

  • @osgadj im using Dawn dish-soap diluted at 2%

  • HOW MUCH WOULD U CHARGE TO MAKE ME ONE INBOX ME

  • @MrBlackquality the shipping would be to much but id be happy to help you make your own

  • grasias por los consejos saludos de parte de todos los mexicanos

  • @djszeplucky sent email

  • There is much more involved for your safety:

1: All electrical for the fan, pump, dance floor lighting, music, etc should be GFCI protected to protect against electrical shocks / death.

    2. Dish soap is not ph balanced, dissolves body enzymes and protective oils, and an irritant to eyes, throat, skin, etc.. and should not be used.

  • I am havin a heck of a time trying to find the sprinkler heads for the project, I have looked at home depot, lowes, and a local hardware store in the lawn and garden sprinkler sections and cant find anything similiar. Any ideas where im going wrong?

  • @jfttf3 i think you could use almost any thing.... like modifying a lawn sprinkler.... or a water hose sprayer attachment.

  • nice pump man, looks awesome!!! could you send a parts list my way?

  • Hey! Can you tell me also the specifications of the blower in details pls? I've already got one, but ist small:

    Airvolume: 525 m³/h - Air pressure max.: 80 Pa - Power 100 Watts

    Its that enough?

    Greedings from Germany!

  • where can i get the blower? i cant find a store.. or what kind of stores? help

  • @YORKPEPPER i got mine at "Northern tool" ill send you the link

  • thanks for the vid man i was looking for one in january cuz thats when my bday was and couldnt find one but i should be ready next year

ps did a study in school a long time ago about witch soap make the most bubbles and it was the old school dawn makes massive bubbles

  • i ngot everything working but it is doing bubbles in clumps and not thick foam. could anyone help

  • please can you tell me the specifications of the blower in details please ?

  • @sharkiekiller sent in message

  • When looking at home depot i found 2 different types of weed blocker, one was a plastic type of material and one was more of a linen type material. Which type did you use for your machine? Thanks

  • @jfttf3 it was the plastic type

  • @Viera95 Thanks

  • Best DIY video for a foam machine! I just bulit one with a 1/6 hp sub. pump, and a 1/2 horsepower tornado carpet drying fan. Bought the generic blue dish soap from Smart and Final. And got the sprinkler heads from Home Depot...they were hard to find but they had them. I spent $150 total but got the fan used. Everyone said I was crazy but it works great. If a pothead like me can do it, anyone can!

  • glasshousegirl here again. After the party I had for my girls I realized my foam machine could use a little adjusting. We used a 1/6 HP pump but went through 32 gallons every fifteen minutes. THat was way too much. Wondering if a small fountain pump will work. I think a less powerful fan would also work, because even with the 1/2 HP fan (as opposed to your 3/4 HP fan) we still only used on the lowest setting. Gotta experiment a little more with the whole set up, but all-in-all it worked!

  • @glasshousegirl post a video w yout 1/2 fan pls..

  • great body man! :P hot

  • I also didnt hear you when u sad material name can u tel me ?

    Ps. THIS IS AWSOME !!!

  • @slider532622 its called "Weedblock" they sell it at most hardware stores

  • @Viera95 Thanks really for that ! But I have new problem I bought pupm witch power is 3500l/h And it's to much. Can u tell me power of your pump ?

  • @slider532622 sent you a message

  • so, we're making one of these - we have the blower, the weed blocker, we have a 1/4 pump, and the pvc piping and hose - everything except for the sprinker heads which no home improvement/hardware store has. We're getting foam, but not like you do and it's a little runny. We put 48 oz of dishwashing liquid to 4 gallons of water and it barely foamed. We're currently using hose spray nozzles which can be turned into the fan position. Any suggestions? We didn't think it'd be this hard. thanks

  • @422even ---i built on of these years ago...got the sprinkler heads from Lowes...back by pvc pipe area and yard sprinkler systems

  • @422even ---i built on of these years ago...got the sprinkler heads from Lowes...back by pvc pipe area and yard sprinkler systems.Check my page to see the one i BOUGHT___NOT THE ONE I MADE.the one i made got broken and havent got around to making a new one.

  • @422even your fan my not have enuf power... your mixture might be to rich it should be 302.832943 milliliters or 10.24 US fluid ounces of soap for 4 gallons of water... also the sprayer heads should spray water not mist you can see my other video to see how much water is actually coming out.. if you want to send me some pictures id be happy to take a look.. good luck

  • My email is tokyowegohard@gmail.com

  • Can you email me the parts list, the type of fan and sump pump, and type of soap you used

  • do the bag has to be make a certain way, I couldn't get any bubbles to come out.

  • dude i wanna know if you can make one for me and i pay it to you how much would you charge me?

  • @djpichon7 i would but the shipping would probably be way to expensive.. it would be like $350 to build it with the parts i used.. if you want i can email you a shopping list cuz it really is vary easy to put together once you have all the parts

  • @Viera95 YES man that would be great! thanks send me the shoping list by email pls :D

  • @Viera95 I've tried to build it, same design mine won't work it's very frausterating

  • @nbs332000 if you want to send me some photos id be happy to see whats up..

  • Can I use a 1/2 air blower

  • @alandisj1 for the size of pump im using yes.

  • @Viera95 can u message me the material name and stuff

  • excellent very good video but I would like to know the name of the textil you use q

q foam to be more fluid ... thanks

  • thanks man

  • great video!!

I dont hear very good the material name, and I look for the name @pablo1117 but dont found it

    cant you tell us

    thanks!!!

  • @bustinbassteam i sent you a message

  • Comment removed

  • ooh weed block nvm i found it

  • whats the material called? sorry i couldnt hear it

  • Great video im going to try and make one! hey but if you have any idea on how to make a foam cannon you should make a video for that as well

  • @pablo1117 thanks... i think a foam cannon would be built the same way, just with a long hose on the end of the fan.

  • @pablo1117 i found the fan you would use for a foam cannon its a 1.5 HP blower fan for inflating bounce houses, you would just attach a air-duct to the end of the fan then attach sprinklers and weed-block to the other end of the air-duct. i could make a video explaining it but i don't have the $ to buy a new fan

  • From your video, I believe the hose is glued into the pvc tee? Or is the tee also threaded? Sorry for all the questions just want to get this exactly right. Your machine really outputs the foam.

  • @piercekiel yes i just glued the house to the pvc pipe

  • What did you use to attach the sprinkler heads to the elbows?

  • @piercekiel the sprinkler heads have threaded fittings, i found a adapter that goes from a 1/2" thread to a 1/2" PVC fitting... if you go to the hardware store you should be able to peace something together.

  • What type of sprinkler heads did you use? 360...adjustable? What did you use to cut the hole in the housing for the water hose?

  • @piercekiel i used 2 , 360 sprinkler heads they have an adjustment screw... i used a 1/2 inch paddle blade drill bit and a drill to make the hole in the housing and glued the house in place with epoxy.

  • @Viera95

Thanks. Great video and idea!!! Did you use epoxy to glue the velcro as well?

  • @piercekiel yes

  • great! but not hear either the name of the material that made the bag, you could write it again. and I'm interested to know where to buy the foam mix or trade name that could be found.

  • @DEADMASTER1 sent email

  • This is really great, it's the only diy foam machine I've seen that works as well as a professional grade machine. Hopefully if I can find a cheap blower, this is going to make a huge hit for some of some future fundraisers I'll be doing, thanks a lot =D

ps. I love the mini green screen in the background haha

  • Hey man I sent you a PM.

  • do you mix the solution and how?does the water temperature matter?what about water pressure?wonder if adding a valve to regulate water flow would be beneficial?thanks for the demonstration bro.

  • @bentpimp fill the tank with water first then add the soap and mix it some. water temperature doesn't seem to make a difference. I would not use hot water cuz I might over heat your pump. I didn't use a regulator valve cuz the pumps output is already being limited by the sprinkler heads (theirs an adjustment screw on each) also the amount of water is reduced by how high the water hast to be pumped

  • @bentpimp so if the water tank is on the ground and the fan is mounted on the ceiling there will be less water output than if you have them on the same level. the pump I use is probably to small to pump that high so if your planning to mount it high you may want a slightly larger pump.
