There is a maximum amount of lashes that are given in any one sitting so no life-threatening injuries or complications occur. And keep in mind that caning is a punishment that has to be issued by the Courts, and then only to medically fit male offenders above 18 y/o - certainly not to 13 y/o girls by their parents.

There is a maximum amount of lashes that are given in any one sitting so no life-threatening injuries or complications occur. And keep in mind that caning is a punishment that has to be issued by the Courts, and then only to medically fit male offenders above 18 y/o - certainly not to 13 y/o girls by their parents.

I'm an atheist, and I guarantee I have a higher moral fiber than most, if not all christians. My morals aren't set upon me by the knowledge of being judged, therefore, my morals are based on immutable truths that guarantee benefit and survival for those I come into contact with. @NSM1035 My problem with any faith based religion is that there are so many little things that, individually, seem negligible, but realistically add up to a system of total control through abandonment of intellect and complete fealty to doctrine. Religion makes slaves, no matter how good it feels to the devout. Think about it. In anything you do during your day, how often do you actually include 'god'. Usually when you are in trouble, right? This is textbook abandonment of intellect...slavery.
